アメリカ率いる連合軍は、コーストとパクティカで『天国のダニエル』という名称の新たな反タリバン/アル・カーイダ作戦を始めた。
作戦の目標は、その地域のNGOと連合軍に対する聖戦士のこれ以上の攻撃を防ぐことだ。
米軍スポークスマンは、作戦は先週の木曜日に始まったと話したが、それ以上詳しく述べることは拒否した。
金曜日の朝、コーストの新空港に遠隔制御ミサイルによる攻撃があった。

Four Italian Troops Killed in Missile Attack on Khost Airport
MEERANSHAH (AZZAM):
US led coalition forces have commenced a major new anti-Taliban/ al-Qaeda operation named 'Heaven Daniel' in Khost and Paktika.
The operation's objective is to prevent further Mujahideen attacks on NGOs and coalition forces in the region.
A US military spokesman stated the operation started last Thursday, but declined to elaborate any further.
A remote controlled missile attack targetting Khost's newer airport occured on Friday morning.
All the missiles hit the interior of the airbase, where Italian troops are stationed.
At least 4 Italian troops were killed in the attack.
Dark plumes of smoke were seen over the airport from a significant distance.
US gunships failed to locate the Mujahideen responsible.
After the attack, 140 fresh Afghan militia arrived in 20 vehicles to bolster coalition forces in the region.
