11 July 2003:
642 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.

Three US Marines Killed in Landmine Explosion in Afghanistan

KABUL (AZZAM):
The fatalities occurred as an American military vehicle ran over a landmine during an ongoing anti-Mujahideen operation in the Shahi Kot region.
The vehicle was completely destroyed in the blast.
Sources revealed that the landmine was remotely detonated by guerrilla Mujahideen units.
On the other hand, US sources denied the whole incident.

More Protests Against Pakistan in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif

KABUL (AZZAM):
On Tuesday, hundreds of Afghans staging violent protests, entered the Pakistani High Commission building and destroyed all the property within it.
The protestors broke in around 9:45 AM and destroyed all the computers, official documents and records, and furniture in the building.
The staff were confined inside consulate for about three hours, while the Afghan law enforcement authorities appeared to be nothing more than silent spectators.
The Afghan administration was paralysed and unable to stop the protestors who had a free rein for more than two hours.
In fact, witnesses stated that the Afghan State Bank governor, Anwar ul Haq, was seen leading more than 1000 Afghan protestors.
They were chanting slogans against General Musharraf and the Pakistan army for violating Afghan borders.

Pakistan sealed its consulate immediately after the attack.
This was the second protest against Pakistan in two consecutive days.
The embassies in Kabul and Jalalabad were also closed.
A High Commission spokesman said in a statement that the whole time during the violence, the Karzai government did not at any time try to stop the protestors.
The Pakistan government is now blaming Indian intelligence agency, RAW, for instigating the incidents.
According to the Afghans, the protests were a show of anger towards Pakistan since the Pakistani army tried to enter Afghan regions by force during the past week.
This is also an interesting reply to General Musharraf's extended support in the ongoing US-led War Against Terrorism.

Meanwhile, in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif, students in large numbers also held a protest against Pakistan.
This protest took place on Wednesday following the attacks on the Pakistani consulate in Kabul.
The Balkh university students were raising slogans against Musharraf and Pakistan.
They burnt the Pakistani flag and an effigy of Musharraf.
Protestors tried to submit a declaration at the UN office, but were denied by the UN. Upon hearing about the denial, some of the protestors threw stones at the office breaking several windows.
The UN staff then allowed the students to submit the declaration at the office.
The protestors were around 50 in number.
