Anonymous Iraqis have told the Abu Dhabi channel on Monday that the attacks against the American forces in Iraq are carried out by Islamists and not supporters of the removed president Saddam Hussain.

A hooded man swore in an interview from Iraq with the TV channel that his group knows about every resistance operation inside Iraq.

The man who was standing within a group of about 20 hooded men some of whom was carrying guns stated that the attackers were carrying out these operations in the name of Allah and that they have nothing to do with the former regime that harmed all people.

Furthermore, he said that while the United States and their allies have tanks, planes and (high) technology, the resistance has a much stronger weapon which is Allah's help.

Thirty eight American soldiers are reported to have been killed in attacks since the American president George Bush declared the end of the main military operations in the beginning of May.
