「アーミテージはパウエルと同じで国際協調重視で親日のハト派」という朝日も乗れる日本人好みの「宣伝」、ガス抜きには眉に唾した方がいいかもしれませんね。予言書のようなアーミテージ・レポート（一般指導マニュアル一般公開版）は何だったという話です。秘書給与スキャンダルのお仕置きで失脚しかけた田中真紀子氏がかつて外相になった時、アーミテージと何かありませんでしたっけ。
