１月３０日のエル・パイス紙によると、スペイン軍の兵隊の人数がこの１年間で２千人以上も減少したそうです。
現在スペインでは失業率が１４％を超えているのですが、スペイン国民にとっては、兵隊になってイラクに行くよりも失業のほうがましだ、ということでしょう。
