Shipping liners warned of Islamic threat

The Korean government warned shipping companies to be cautious after a threat appeared on an Islamic Internet site, news reports said yesterday.

On the Web site, known as Al Basra, an unidentified person threatened violence against nine shipping companies if they transported U.S. strategic goods, the reports said, quoting an anonymous intelligence official.

"One of the nine companies is a large shipping transporter," the official was quoted as saying. But he did not identify the targeted company.

Further investigation is needed to find out whether the site is linked to the terrorist group al-Qaida, the official was quoted as saying.

Maritime officials said the government had informed six domestic shipping liners transporting goods to Middle Eastern countries of the threat. They added that no Korean shipping companies had transported goods related to the U.S. military.

A South Korean government said that Al Basrah network published a message from a radical Islamic group planning to attack a fleet, which cooperates with America. Other newspapers forwarded this message saying it comes from AL-Basrah network.
On our part we solemnly declare to the whole world that we never published such a report neither we ever have heard of it

2) Unmasks the actual motives that lay behind the invasion of Iraq and let the world know the actual perpetrators of all the lies.
3) The Basrah. Net and the whole population of Iraq are well aware of the fact that there exists no Al-Qaaida members neither the legendary Al-Zarqawi on its soil.
For us and them all, it is a big lie as similar as the other lies which are perpetrated by the occupation forces to kill the Iraqi and vilify the valiant Resistance Freedom Fighter. The Korian press together with other dubious world media is bit another desperate campaign to silence the free press which expose their undervalued evil schemes. Albarah.net will fight all the evil doers and those who propagate to silence the free press all over the world.
