Resistance pushes puppet forces out of al-Qa’im on the Syrian Border.

Fighting rages in the city as Resistance forces drive towards area of Hit to link up with forces there and open new fronts.

Iraqi Resistance forces on Wednesday expelled the puppet police and puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” from the al-‘Ubaydi area 30km east of al-Qa’im, and also from the cemetery in the ar-Rabtah area. The Resistance drove the Iraqi puppet police out of their police station headquarters in the city of al-Qa’im itself and from the al-Karabilah puppet police station 2km east of the city.

By those acts, the Resistance has seized basic control of the city of al-Qa’im and the police districts under its jurisdiction, in a clear escalation of the Resistance efforts in the area. In his dispatch posted at 6:25pm Mecca time (7:25pm local time) the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that Resistance forces were moving towards the areas of ‘Anah and Rawa in order to open more fronts in their struggle against the US occupation.

Fighting in Hit.

Resistance continues to control city and its environs despite savage US air attacks.

Iraqi Resistance forces remained in control of the city of Hit in ar-Ramadi Province on Wednesday. Resistance fighters battled US forces, destroying four Bradley armored vehicles and an armored personnel carrier in addition to two Humvees.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported that at least 31 American Marines were killed and 10 Iraqi Resistance fighters martyred in combat.

On Wednesday afternoon, US aircraft dropped five container bombs full of anti-personnel cluster bombs ミ a total of 10,000 cluster bombs in all ミ on the environs of the city of Hit. Despite such savage attacks, the correspondent wrote, the Resistance remains in control of the ‘Anah and Rawa areas.

Al-Fallujah region.

Fighting rages in ar-Ramadi as US snipers shoot civilians in the streets paralyzing movement in the city.

Fierce fighting broke out in the al-Mal‘ab [“the Playing Field”] and al-Qattan areas of ar-Ramadi and in the industrial zone of the city on Wednesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the area reported that local residents are unable to leave their homes in many parts of the city because US snipers have deployed in large numbers atop buildings from which they shoot at anything that moves in the streets below. The American snipers shot five local civilians dead, most of their wounds being to the head and neck.

Three US troops killed in bombing near al-Karmah.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded near Jadwal at-Tamimi, a branch of the Euphrates River, in the area of al-Karmah on Wednesday morning. The blast destroyed a US Marine Humvee, killing three and wounding two other US occupation troops.

Resistance executes collaborator agent in al-Karmah.

Iraqi Resistance forces executed an Iraqi collaborating with the US occupation troops on Wednesday morning in the al-Karmah area west of al-Fallujah. Shawkat ‘Abbas Talab al-Jawmili, who was regarded as one of the most important agents of the occupation forces, was shot dead by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter at 8am Wednesday.

US troops deface bodies of dead Iraqis in al-Fallujah.

US troops committed another crime on Tuesday when they abused the bodies of two Iraqis whom they had killed. Five Iraqis had been killed by US gunfire in al-Fallujah and four others were wounded on Tuesday. Residents of the area to whom the bodies were delivered by the Americans reported that they had been badly disfigured, the arms and legs were cut off, as were the heads. The faces and hands had been shredded by knives and they bore signs of having been dragged along the ground.

Baghdad front.

At least six US troops killed in Baghdad ambush at 10:50pm Wednesday night.

At least six US troops were killed when Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed their patrol of two Humvees and one Bradley armored vehicle on the highway leading to Saddam International Airport at about 10:50pm Wednesday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fighters fired RPG7 rockets and BKC automatic weapons as well as Kalashnikov assault rifles, totally destroying the two Humvees and killing the six men who were aboard them.

Resistance attacks US patrol near New Baghdad Wednesday night.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a joint US-Iraqi puppet “national guard” patrol, made up of two Nissan pickup trucks belonging to the puppet “national guard” and two US Humvees, as it traveled along the Canal Road near New Baghdad at 8:40pm Wednesday night. The Resistance opened fire on the patrol with RPG7 rockets and BKC automatic weapons, destroying two pickups and disabling a Humvee. The poor weather prevented the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam to assess the extent of casualties in the attack.

Resistance attack disables US armored vehicle.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the path of a US patrol in the ‘Aqr Qaws area of Abu Ghurayb at 10:25pm disabling an armored vehicle.

Resistance bombs blow up US Humvee in Baghdad.

Two Iraqi Resistance bombs made of powerful Austrian explosive blew up at about 12 midnight Wednesday-Thursday under a US patrol made up of a Bradley armored vehicle and two Humvees near the Ibn Taymiyah mosque which lies between al-Yarmuk and al-‘Amil in Baghdad. The powerful explosions totally destroyed one Humvee. Dust storms prevented the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent from ascertaining the exact casualty count.

Resistance bomb hits puppet patrol in at-Taji Wednesday night.

Iraqi Resistance bombs made of powerful Austrian explosives blew up under a column of two Nissan pickup trucks and two 2-ton Kia vehicles belonging to the puppet “national guard” in at-Taji, north of Baghdad. Kia and Nissan vehicles were destroyed in the Wednesday night bombing but the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent had no information on casualties.

Resistance attack targets puppet police in al-Ghazaliyah Wednesday night.

An Iraqi puppet police patrol made up of three Land Cruisers was attacked by the Iraqi Resistance in the al-Ghazaliyah area near Baghdad at 11:40pm Wednesday night. The Resistance fired BKC automatic weapons intensely at the convoy, destroying one vehicle that caught fire and disabling the rest. Due to fierce dust storms, however, the correspondent was unable to assess the extent of casualties in the attack.

Fierce fighting rages under the cover of bad weather.

Fierce fighting broke out near the village of adh-Dhahab al-Abyad in the area of Abu Ghurayb after Resistance fighters, taking advantage of the bad weather, when visibility was less than 20 meters, attacked and destroyed one Bradley armored vehicle and disabled another. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the area quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance captured one American.

Afterwards US Apache helicopters attacked the area, but fled after the Resistance opened fire with rockets that cut through the darkness over the area.

Three US troops killed in Wednesday night ambush in al-Ghazaliyah.

A US patrol consisting of four Humvees was attaked by the Iraqi Resistance in al-Ghazaliyah, west of Baghdad at 8:40pm Wednesday night. The Resistance fighters fired RPG7s, destroying one Humvee and disabling a second and killing at least three US troops.

Four US troops killed in al-‘Amiriyah ambush Wednesday night.

At least four US troops were killed in an Iraqi Resistance ambush in the al-‘Amiriyah area of Baghdad at about 9:20pm Wednesday night. An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a patrol of three US Humvees and an armored vehicle, destroying one Humvee and killing the men aboard. The explosive used was probably of the powerful Austrian variety because the Humvee was reduced by the blast to a pile of tangled metal.

Seven puppet “national guardsmen” killed in Resistance bombing south of Baghdad.

Three Iraqi Resistance bombs made of powerful Austrian explosives went off under a column of four Nissan pickup trucks, two Patrol Safaris, and two Kias belonging to the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” in the as-Suwayrah area south of Baghdad at 9:15am Wednesday. One Nissan pickup truck was destroyed and seven puppet soldiers killed.

Three US soldiers killed in ambush.

On Wednesday evening, an Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up under a joint US-Iraqi puppet “national guard” column made up of three US Humvees and three Nissan pickup trucks belonging to the so-called “national guard.” The bomb destroyed one Humvee totally, and after that fighting erupted between the US survivors and the Iraqi Resistance that lasted for 15 minutes. Three US troops and four puppet “national guardsmen,” one with the rank of captain, were killed in the battle, and two more pickup trucks were disabled.

Bayji, Tikrit, Salah ad-Din Province.

Unmanned reconnaissance plane shot down by Resistance over Bayji.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot down an unmanned US reconnaissance airplane over the al-Hujjaj area of the city of Bayji, north of Baghdad at 4:30pm Wednesday. Resistance fighters downed the small plane using a Russian-made RPK machine gun, an advanced version of the Kalashnikov assault rifle that fires a more intense burst of 7.62mm bullets at longer ranges.

Three US troops killed in Resistance attack in Tikrit.

Three US troops were killed when Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US military column of two personnel carriers loaded with men and supplies and three Humvees in Tikrit at 7:15pm Wednesday night.

Resistance takes out three Abrams tanks in ambush in at-Tarimiyah.

In at-Tarimiyah Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol with SPG9s at 10:15pm Wednesday night ,setting three US Abrams tanks ablaze.

Kirkuk Front.

Resistance ambush in Kirkuk leaves three Peshmergah chauvinist gunmen dead.

Three Kurdish chauvinist Peshmergah gunmen were killed when a column of GMC vehicles belonging to American intelligence and escorted by the Peshmergah chauvinists was attacked by the Iraqi Resistance at 8am in Kirkuk. The attack also destroyed a Land Cruiser.

Unmanned reconnaissance aircraft shot down near Kirkuk.

Iraqi Resistance fighters shot down an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft in the at-Tuz area of the city of Kirkuk using BKC automatic weapons. These aircraft are sent up by the Americans prior to their offensives.

Resistance attack leaves US armored vehicle disabled in Tal‘afar.

Iraqi Resistance bombs blew up under a US column of six armored vehicles in the Tal‘afar area on the Iraqi-Syrian borders disabling one of the armored vehicles at about 6am Wednesday.

Al-Latifiyah ミ al-Yusufiyah.

Resistance ambushes US convoy between al-Yusufiyah and ar-Ridwaniyah.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column on the International Highway between al-Yusufiyah and ar-Ridwaniyah at 5:45pm local time. The sound of rocket-propelled grenades exploding could be heard from the area. Three US military vehicles were set ablaze, but there is no information on casualties.

Resistance shoots down unmanned reconnaissance plane over al-Latifiyah.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot down a pilotless reconnaissance aircraft at 10am Wednesday in the Jabal as-Sakhr area near al-Latifiyah south of Baghdad. The Resistance fighters fired a BKC automatic weapon to bring down the small craft. These aircraft are sent up by the Americans prior to their offensives.

Resistance attacks US convoy of more than 20 supply trucks.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired a barrage of 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds at a US military column of at least 20 trucks in the al-Latifiyah area south of Baghdad at about 6am, setting three trucks ablaze and killing two drivers, believed to be foreigners.

Resistance attack disables US tank, Americans kill three Iraqi civilians in revenge.

Iraqi Resistance fighters disabled an Abrams tank near the al-Latifiyah market Wednesday morning. Afterwards, US forces opened fire indiscriminately in the area, killing three Iraqi civilians who were in the market at the time.

Elsewhere in Iraq. . .

Two Japanese soldiers killed in Resistance bombing.

Two Japanese aggressor soldiers were killed early Wednesday in the southern Iraqi town of as-Samawah when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded next to their patrol at 5:30am local time. One Jeep was also disabled in the blast.

Iraqi Resistance bombardments throughout Iraq on Wednesday.

The US base at Simuk in an=Najaf was struck by an Iraqi Resistance barrage at 4:30am Wednesday morning.

The US headquarters in al-Yusufiyah was struck by a powerful Tariq rocket at 5:45am Wendesday.

At 7:20am Wednesday morning, Resistance forces mounted an intensive barrage of 60mm mortar rounds on the US airbase at al-Muthanna in Baghdad.

The ar-Rashid Hotel which hosts US agents and servitors of the occupation and is also located in the top security district of the so-called “green zone,” was hit by a Katyusha rocket at 7:45am, damaging the first and second floors of the structure.

The US headquarters in al-Yusufiyah was struck by two powerful Tariq rockets at 8:25am Wendesday.

At 8:45am the Iraqi Resistance fired two Katyusha rockets at the Republican Palace in Baghdad, which the American occupation uses as its national headquarters, calling it the “green zone.”

At 10:05am Wednesday morning, Resistance forces fired nine 82mm mortar rounds on the US airbase at al-Muthanna in Baghdad.

At about 10:20am Wednesday, the Resistance fired four 120mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters in al-Yusufiyah.

Iraqi Resistance forces struck the puppet military academy in ar-Rustamiyah, southeast Baghdad with seven 120mm mortar rounds at about 3pm Wednesday afternoon.

The US base in the area of ar-Rashidiyah in northern Baghdad was hit by two Grad rockets at about 4pm.

A powerful blast shook the so-called “green zone” headquarters of the US occupation when a Tariq rocket slammed into the compound. The rocket is believed to have struck near the Republican Palace itself, the center of the occupied area. Warning sirens wailed and clouds of smoke rose into the sky after the strike.

At about 6:20pm Wednesday Resistance forces hit the US-occupied Diyala Airport with a powerful Tariq rocket.

The Resistance bombarded Saddam International Airport at about 6:50pm Wednesday with two powerful Tariq rockets.

A Grad missile slammed into the so-called “green zone” in Baghdad at 7:30pm

The US airbase in al-Muthanna in Baghdad was hit by five 82mm mortar rounds at about 8:20pm Wednesday evening.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets into the US base that the Americans have set up in one of the Presidential palaces in Tikrit at about 8:30pm Wednesday.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired three Katyusha rockets into the house of ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Hakim, the head of the collaborationist so-called “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCIRI) whose Badr Brigade forces invaded Iraq in tandem with US aggressors in spring 2003. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that al-Hakim was not home at the time of the Resistance barrage, which occurred at about 9pm Wednesday night.

The headquarters of the puppet so-called Iraqi “national guard” was struck by four Katyusha rockets at about 9:10pm Wednesday night.

At 9:40pm Resistance forces bombarded the US base in the city of Balad with three Grad rockets.

At 9:45pm Wednesday, Resistance forces pounded the joint US-Iraqi “national guard” base in Samarra’ with 11 mortar rounds.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired a Grad rocket into the so-called “green zone” at 9:45pm Wednesday, setting off warning sirens inside the US compound.

Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the building housing the puppet urban council for the as-Sayyidiyah district of Baghdad with six shells at 11:30pm Wednesday night, according to the Baghdad correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.

At 11:40pm the Resistance fired six 82mm mortar rounds at the headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi national guard” at the al-Muthanna air base in Baghdad.

At 11:50pm the Resistance struck the headquarters of the Iraqi puppet “government” in the so-called “green zone” with two Katyusha rockets.
