Al-Fallujah.

US invaders savagely bombard al-Fallujah Sunday morning.

US aggressor forces carried out a savage bombardment of al-Fallujah on Sunday morning that was still under way when the Mafkarat al-Islam submitted his report posted at 11:40am local time (10:40am Mecca time). On the ground, loudspeakers from mosques broadcast prayers and the cries Allahu Akbar! “God is greatest” to keep up the defiant spirits of the city residents and defenders.

In a dispatch posted at 1:39pm Sunday afternoon local time (12:39pm Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces were at that moment bombing the an-Nazal neighborhood of northern al-Fallujah. American fire was concentrated, he wrote, on the zone between the an-Nazal Mosque and the Mosque of Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Aziz.

US massacres civilians in attacks on cars on highway near al-Fallujah.

US forces killed a whole family when their gunfire targeted their car on the highway near al-Fallujah. A unit of the al-Fallujah police (a force not controlled by the Americans) to the scene of the US atrocity. Due to the condition of the wreck, an exact count of the number of casualties had not been made when the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam filed his report at 6:02pm local time Sunday evening (5:02pm Mecca time).

The police also found another Iraqi civilian car, a white Daiwoo, had also been destroyed by a US shell or rocket, killing the two people aboard it. Documents in their possession identified one of them as Miqdad Sabir Hazzal, an Iraqi civilian on his way from Baghdad to Hit, and the other as another Iraqi citizen named ‘Ali Isma‘il Jalal.

US escalates bombardment, Resistance destroys US tank, killing five crewmen.

In a dispatch posted at 3:25pm Sunday local time (2:25pm Mecca time) the correspondent reported that the US had resumed its heavy bombardment of neighborhoods in al-Fallujah as tension rose throughout the city. The Resistance had observed that US forces were massing to the north and south of the city, and Resistance fighters had immediately destroyed a US tank to the north in an effort to discourage the American deployment. First, a CKF rocket was fired, disabling one tank, and then two more were fired in quick succession, destroying the tank completely and killing the five men presumed to be aboard.

US bombardment of al-Fallujah continues into Sunday night.

In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm local time Sunday evening (6:30pm Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent reported that the US was still continuing its bombardment of various neighborhoods of the city. Five shells had just struck al-Fallujah, two of them in the ash-Shurtah neighborhood.

Six US soldiers killed outside al-Fallujah as Resistance drives Americans back across the highway.

Resistance fire forced US troops to withdraw to beyond the highway that runs outside of al-Fallujah, according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city. At about 11am Resistance forces destroyed one US Abrams tank and a Humvee. They fired three SPG9 rockets at the tank, scoring a direct hit. The Humvee was hit by anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade fire precisely in the middle, blowing it apart. More than six US troops were killed in the engagement.

Sources report desertion of 300 mercenaries from US camp outside al-Fallujah as zero hour approaches.

More than 300 mercenaries serving the US military in the agricultural region north of al-Fallujah on Sunday morning fled from the area, according to reliable sources based in the agricultural area quoted by the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city. Signs of mutiny within the aggressor camp have been growing as the time for the American assault on the city approaches. On Saturday Mafkarat al-Islam reported on the flight of a battalion of Iraqi puppet troops from the area as well.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot down an unmanned American reconnaissance plane at about 7pm Sunday evening using BKC automatic weapons according to the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.

Four US troops killed in Resistance attack in Hit area.

At about 8am Sunday Iraqi Resistance forces detonated a bomb in the path of a US patrol destroying one Bradley armored vehicle and killing four US soldiers in the vicinity of Hit in western Iraq, according to a report posted by the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a US supply convoy in Hit at about 10am on the supply road leading to ar-Ramadi. One US troop transport loaded with military equipment was destroyed, killing one US soldier immediately and seriously wounding another.

Seven American troops killed in ambush early Sunday afternoon.

Seven US troops and three puppet “Iraqi national guardsmen” were killed and six Americans and Iraqi puppets injured when a powerful Iraqi Resistance bomb, probably of Austrian explosives, blew up under a joint US-Iraqi puppet column in the ad-Duwaylibah area in ar-Ridwaniyah at about 2pm Sunday afternoon. Resistance fighters then attacked the survivors with BKC automatic weapons, destroying one pickup belonging to the puppet “national guard.”

Three US intelligence officers, three American troops killed in ambush in Baghdad.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Baghdad reported that a Resistance bomb exploded under a white armored GMC vehicle that was being escorted by three US Humvees. Resistance fighters then attacked the survivors with BKC automatic weapons and SBG9 and RPG7 rockets. Three US intelligence officers and three US soldiers were killed in the attack.

Resistance attack strikes US intelligence officers in al-‘Amil district of Baghdad.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a US column of American intelligence vehicles in the al-‘Amil area of Baghdad around sunset at 5:45pm Sunday. Immediately afterwards, Resistance forces opened fire on the column with SPG9 rockets and BKC automatic weapons, killing six Americans and wounding four others, including one intelligence officer who was severely injured. The attack also destroyed one Humvee and one armored white GMC belonging to US intelligence.

At about 9:30am Sunday morning, Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded under a US column in the al-I‘lam area of Baghdad destroying one Humvee. Eyewitnesses reported that the blast was extremely powerful and scattered metal from the vehicle mixed with body parts all around the area. Three men were seen in the Humvee before the blast but it is not certain how many were actually aboard it when it blew up.

Eight US troops killed in ambush in ad-Durah, southern Baghdad.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column made up of three Humvees and two Bradley armored vehicles in the ‘Arab Jabbur area of ad-Durah on the southern outskirts of Baghdad at about 5:45pm Sunday afternoon. The assault began when the Resistance detonated a bomb under the column and then opened fire with RPG7 and C5K rockets and BKC automatic weapons, destroying two armored vehicles and a Hummvee and disabling a second Humvee. Eight US troops were killed and four others wounded. Two Resistance fighters died as martyrs in the battle and three others were wounded.

Three US intelligence officers killed in Resistance bomb attack in al-Karradah, Baghdad.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the ‘Arafat al-Hindiyah area of the al-Karradah district of Baghdad, destroying one vehicle believed to belong to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). At least three US intelligence officers were killed in the ambush, according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent whose report was posted at 11:55pm Mecca time Sunday night.

Four US troops killed in assault on US intelligence vehicles in as-Sayyidiyah in Baghdad.

Four Iraqi Resistance bombs blew up in succession under a US military column in as-Sayyidiyah at 6pm Sunday evening, disabling one personnel carrier. Resistance fighters then opened up with RPG7 rockets and BKC automatic weapons, destroying a Humvee and an armored GMC believed to belong to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Four US troops were killed.

Five US troops killed in battle in as-Sayyidiyah Sunday evening.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Baghdad reported that battles erupted in the old as-Sayyidiyah area of Baghdad Sunday evening. Fighting began when a Resistance bomb exploded, and that was followed by Resistance attacks with RPG7 rockets, had grenades, and BKC automatic weapons. An American Humvee was destroyed and a Bradley armored vehicle disabled. Five US troops were killed and three others wounded.

Three US soldiers die in Iraqi Resistance assault on puppet “municipal council” building in as-Sayyidiyah.

Resistance forces fired two C5K rockets and then opened up with RPG7 rockets and BKC automatic weapons on the building housing the puppet “municipal council” in as-Sayyidiyah in Baghdad on Sunday evening. One Humvee was destroyed in the attack, as were two Land Cruisers belonging to the Iraqi puppet police. Eight Iraqi puppet policemen and three US soldiers were killed in the assault.

Three killed when Resistance bomb destroys US vehicle in Baghdad early Sunday.

At 8:30am Sunday, Iraqi Resistance forces detonated a heavy bomb under a US personnel carrier, destroying it in the al-Hurriyah area of Baghdad. Three persons were killed and two others wounded.

Massive bomb targets Iraqi puppet police hangout in Baghdad.

A massive bomb exploded at a Baghdad caf frequented by Iraqi puppet policemen located near the Australian embassy in the occupied Iraqi capital on Sunday night. Reuters reported that there were numerous casualties in the blast and that the puppet police had cordoned off the area to which ambulances were racing.

Three foreign drivers serving occupation troops killed in Resistance bombing of convoy.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a convoy of trucks bringing prefabricated wooden houses to US troops in the highway near the al-Ghazaliyah area, west of Baghdad. The blast occurred in the area of the al-‘Adl neighborhood market, where the powerful bomb had been planted. The blast destroyed two trucks and killed three foreign civilian drivers who were serving the occupation troops.

One American, eight Iraqi puppet troops killed as Resistance repels attack on Hayfa Street. US snipers kill three Iraqi civilians, including a child.

Iraqi puppet troops backed by American forces attempted to storm into Hayfa Street in Baghdad with tanks and armored vehicles at about 8:20am Sunday morning. Eight puppet troops were killed when the Resistance opened fire on the attackers. One American, a tank driver, was also killed in the attack.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that the Resistance threw back the attempted assault by firing SPG9 and anti-tank RPG7 rockets, disabling one Abrams tank and destroying two Nissan pickup trucks belonging to the puppet troops. Three Iraqi civilians, one of them a child, were shot dead by US snipers who were supporting the assault.

Six US soldiers were killed when Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in the Abu Ghurayb area at about 10am Sunday morning with RPG7 and SPG9 rockets and BKC automatic weapons destroying two Humvees. A third Humvee fled.

Eight Iraqi puppet troops were killed and five others wounded when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded at about 2pm on ash-Shari‘ al-Qadim “Old Street” of Abu Ghurayb. One personnel carrier belonging to the puppet “Iraqi army” and full of puppet troops was destroyed.

At 1:25pm Sunday, an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on the highway in the al-Bayya‘ area of Baghdad, disabling a personnel carrier. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam could not ascertain detailed information about casualties in the attack.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired RPG7 and SBG9 rockets at US forces on the highway to New Baghdad in the al-I‘lam area of the city at about 7pm, destroying a troop transport and killing two US troops and wounding three aboard it.

Iraqi Resistance forces destroyed a “civilian” truck carrying supplies to the US occupation troops at 8pm Sunday night near the petrol pumps in the al-Bayya‘ area of Baghdad. One Asian was killed and another wouned in the attack.

Six US troops killed in Sunday morning fighting in ar-Ridwaniyah.

Six US soldiers and four members of the Iraqi puppet army wee killed and 13 others wounded in clashes that broke out at about 9am Sunday in the ar-Rashid area of ar-Ridwaniyah southwest of Baghdad. The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in the area reported that Resistance fighters were firing BKC automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades in a battle that lasted about 20 minutes.

Two bombs exploded, destroying one US armored vehicle and disabling one Humvee. Then about 45 minutes after the engagement, the Resistance destroyed another US armored vehicle that was empty at the time. A Nissan pickup truck belonging to the Iraqi puppet forces was also demolished. Three Resistance fighters died as martyrs in the battles and four others were wounded.

Resistance shoots down third US aircraft in two days.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot down their third US aircraft in two days in the Suwayb area of ar-Ridwaniyah south of Baghdad. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported that the Resistance fired a Russian-made Strela at about 9am local time, destroying an American Apache helicopter and killing its two-man crew.

On Saturday, Resistance fighters had brought down two other US aircraft with Strela rockets, prompting US forces to offer a $10,000 reward to anyone turning in a Strela launcher.

Later on Sunday the independent Arab satellite TV station al-‘Arabiyah confirmed the Mafkarat al-Islam report that the Resistance had shot down a US helicopter on Sunday south of Baghdad.

US searching for captured helicopter crew shot down on Saturday.

US forces on Sunday intensified their search for two airmen it lost when the Iraqi Resistance shot down their helicopters on Saturday in the ar-Ridwaniyah area near at-Tallah south of Baghdad, according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.

One American Apache helicopter was shot down on Saturday with a Strela rocket, blowing it apart in the sky and killing three US soldiers who were aboard.

A second helicopter, a Black Hawk, was also struck by a Strela on Saturday, causing it to crash. The two pilots of that craft survived, however, and the Resistance captured them and took them away to an unknown location.

The terrain in which both helicopters were shot down is covered with shrubbery and date palms which afforded cover to the Resistance fighters who were therefore able to strike the American aircraft without having been observed.

Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a US patrol made up of three Bradley armored vehicles and two Humvees in the Hur Rajab area of ad-Durah in the southern outskirts of Baghdad. A Resistance bomb exploded in the path of the US patrol, and then Resistance fighters attacked, firing RPG7 rockets and BKC automatic weapons. One Humvee and Bradley were destroyed and another Bradley disabled. Five US troops were killed and six others wounded, two of them seriously, judging by the intensive efforts undertaken by the Americans during their medical evacuation, according to the local Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent whose report was posted at 4:33pm Sunday local time (3:33pm Mecca time).

Five US troops were killed on Sunday when Resistance forces attacked their supply convoy north of Baghdad. Two heavy Resistance bombs exploded under the US column, escorted by four Humvees in the city of Balad, 75km north of the occupied Iraqi capital. The Balad correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast destroyed two supply trucks carrying spare parts and tires for Humvees. A Humvee was also destroyed in the attack.

The puppet police station in the Abu al-Khasib area of al-Basrah Province was struck by two mortar rounds at about 1am Monday morning, according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Basrah.

The Director of al-Basrah airport was the target of an assassination attempt on Sunday at about 4pm, according to the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in the city.

At about 6:30am Sunday morning, Resistance forces fired two Grad rockets at the US base in as-Suqur, south of Baghdad.

The Iraqi Resistance bombarded the US occupation headquarters in the Republican Palace compound in Baghdad - known to the American invaders as “the green zone” at about 8am Sunday with three 82mm mortar rounds.

At about the same time, the Resistance hit the US military base in Balad with a powerful Tariq rocket.

At about 10:30am Sunday morning, Resistance forces fired eight 82mm mortar rounds at the US base in as-Suqur, south of Baghdad.

At 2pm Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US as-Suqur base with two Katyusha rockets.

At about 3:30pm Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US as-Suqur base with four Katyusha rockets.

At the time of sunset prayers - around 5:50pm - the Resistance unleashed a powerful barrage of Grad rockets on as-Suqur.

At about 5:50pm Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets into the US airbase in al-Muthanna, and then followed that up with a barrage of eleven 82mm mortar rounds.

At 7pm massive explosions rocket the as-Suqur base when two powerful Tariq rockets blasted into the camp.
