□バグダッド南方でチヌークが撃墜される　他

・11月20日，土曜日。午後1時。
　Al-Amriahにあるアメリカ軍の統合参謀本部をレジンスタンスが
　8つの１２0ミリ迫撃砲を使って攻撃。
　また，午後4時にも今度はカチューシャ・ロケットを発射している。
　発射したカチューシャのうち1発が統合参謀本部の貯蔵施設を直撃した模様で，
　施設からは午後8時になるまで巨大な炎と煙りが立ち上っているのが目撃されている。

　11月21日，日曜日。午前9時。
　Al-Radwaniah地区とAl-Dowailibah地区を結ぶAl-Furat川に架かる橋の上を
　移動していた2両の兵員輸送車をレジスタンスが自動車爆弾を使って攻撃。
　2両の兵員輸送車には計30名の兵士が乗っていたが，そのうち25名の死亡が報告されている。

　11月21日，日曜日。午後4時30分。
　バグダッドの南方のMakaseb地区上空でチヌークがレジスタンスが発射した
　C5kロケットにより撃墜される。

Elsewhere In Iraq: Second Chinook Down, Car Bomb Takes High Toll

Mujahideen continued to strike at American occupation forces throughout Iraq over the weekend, running lean and mean, and carrying out a variety of attacks. The Occupation Forces center in Al-Amriah was set ablaze, a car bomb in Al-Radwaniah resulted in high US casualties and a second Chinook was downed south of Baghdad, in just three of the attacks that occurred over the weekend. Here are the details.

American Joint Staff Center In Al-Amriah Set Ablaze

Mujahideen bombarded the American Joint Staff Center with eight 120 mm mortar rounds at about 13:00 Saturday. At 16:00 Mujahideen shelled the center again, this time with Kateosha rockets. It appeared that one of the rockets scored a direct hit on a storage facility resulting in huge ball of fire and smoke ascending through the sky until 20:00 that evening.

Car Bomb, South Of Baghdad Reportedly Kills 25

An explosive laden vehicle detonated at two personnel-carriers that were crossing the bridge over Al-Furat river connecting the cities of Al-Radwaniah and Al-Dowailibah at 09:00 Sunday morning. Approximately 30 soldiers were on board the two carriers and at least 25 of them were reported killed.

American Chinook Shot Down South Of Baghdad

The Mujahideen went on another American aircraft hunting expedition Sunday afternoon and fired a C5K rocket at an American Chinook flying over the Makaseb area as it was making its approach to Saddam airport air space. The plane took a direct hit, caught on fire and fell of the sky at about 16:30 Sunday afternoon. No other information is yet available. (JUS)
