Al-Fallujah.

Resistance cleans US invaders out of al-Wahdah neighborhood in northern al-Fallujah,. Resistance fighters from outside break into the city through US lines. Resistance bombards US forces with chemical rockets to facilitate break through.

Iraqi Resistance forces have succeed in clearing the center of al-Fallujah of US invader troops after fierce fighting that started when Resistance fighters stormed the al-Wahdah neighborhood of the city Monday night.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah reported that a detachment of Resistance fighters in the Resistance-controlled southern part of the city and in the eastern al-Fallujah neighborhood of al-‘Askari mounted a powerful attack on the al-Wahdah neighborhood. In a report posted at 12:35pm Tuesday afternoon Mecca time (1:35pm local time) the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent confirmed that the Resistance controlled al-Wahdah although there were still some clashes going on with US forces outside the outskirts of the neighborhood.

That fighting was the continuation of the battle that broke out at around 10pm Monday night after the daylight hours of Monday passed in uncommon calm.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent advanced the opinion that the Resistance gave up control of al-Wahdah for a long period in accordance with the demands of urban warfare, wherein they try to create numerous simultaneous fronts for the occupation troops in order to divide their forces to attack them one-by-one. That tactic also prevents the Resistance from being locked down in one particular area.

Detachments of Resistance fighters also stormed the al-Jawlan neighborhood in the north of al-Fallujah. The correspondent reported that a group of fighters broke into the neighborhood from the direction of al-Azraqiyah in the northwest. They were backed by other Resistance forces that had apparently deployed within the neighborhood after Resistance fighters from outside the city broke through the US siege and into the city on Saturday afternoon.

In another qualitatively new breakthrough, Iraqi Resistance fighters pierced the American ring around the city from the north. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that Resistance detachments totaling some 500 to 600 men swam across the river from the north and into the old section of the city. From there they advanced to the al-Jawlan neighborhood. From there they went to the railroad, then the as-Sakani neighborhood, and afterwards came out from the northern part of the city again. The correspondent reported that those detachments brought in supplies, the nature of which he was unable to ascertain, to the Resistance fighters blockaded in the city.

Meanwhile Iraqi Resistance fighters in the area outside al-Fallujah fired three unconventional rockets at US forces stationed in the garden areas of al-Bu ‘Irin area northwest of the city. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that white dust rose from the area struck by the rocket barrage. Afterwards, four giant Chinook helicopters began evacuating casualties from the target area.

The correspondent added that the Resistance made use of the US forces’ preoccupation with the rocket attack and its aftermath to break through the American blockade into the northwest of the al-Jawlan neighborhood at 9:30pm Monday night. This was another qualitatively new operation undertaken by the Resistance in revenge for the US use of poison gas and other chemical weapons against the civilians - elderly, women, and children - of al-Fallujah.

Although the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent had no way of ascertaining the exact number of casualties that the attack inflicted on the US aggressors, he could report that four Chinook helicopters were used to evacuate the dead and wounded and each Chinook holds about 70 or 80 soldiers in normal conditions. In critical conditions, such as this attack, American forces would tend to load more casualties on their aircraft to get as many out as quickly as possible.

It did not say if the "improvised explosive device" was found on a plane that had just arrived in Baghdad or on one about to depart, saying only that it was found on a plane "inside Iraq".
