Al-Fallujah ミ ar-Ramadi ミ al-Anbar Province.

Bodies of US prisoners ミ executed after Americans refused prisoner exchange ミ found beheaded in al-Fallujah.

US forces discovered 18 Americans’ bodies in al-Fallujah on Tuesday, according to sources in the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” in the city. The bodies were discovered in the al-Maqa’ih industrial area of the city, between the an-Nazal and the ash-Shuahda’ neighborhoods at 9am Tuesday, local time. They had been beheaded and their clothing removed. It is believed that these were the bodies of Americans captured several days ago when US forces launched at attack on the an-Nazal neighborhood of al-Fallujah. The Resistance was finally forced to evacuate that neighborhood and since moving their prisoners would have been extremely difficult under intense US attack, they were executed. A commander of the Iraqi Resistance in the city told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US forces rejected a Resistance offer for a prisoner exchange leaving the Resistance no choice but to execute them when they evacuated the an-Nazal neighborhood.

The commander said that 13 more Americans had been taken captive in an Iraqi Resistance ambush Monday night, one of them a sergeant.

Eyewitnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US forces had pulled the bodies out of where they lay and brought in a helicopter at 10am to haul them away. Another source in the Iraqi police reported that five of the bodies were those of high-ranking American officers.

Violent battles in village near ar-Ramadi.

Fierce fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance forces and US aggressor troops in the al-Jazirah village north of ar-Ramadi on Tuesday morning. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent filed his report 500 meters from the fighting after the battle had broken out when an American column had stormed into al-Jazirah with dozens of tanks, armored vehicles and Humvees at 10am Tuesday. A large number of Resistance fighters were battling the American column on the outskirts of the village, in fighting that was still raging when the correspondent filed his report posted at 12:09pm Mecca time.

The correspondent reported that he saw four tanks ablaze and three Humvees totally destroyed. There were 12 American dead bodies and seven wounded lying about as he wrote. All probably were taken down during a Resistance ambush. US helicopters and fighter planes were prowling the skies overhead, but were unable to bomb because of the close combat going on.

In an update posted at 1:15pm Mecca time the correspondent reported that Resistance fighters in the village were continuing to fight US troops with knives, sticks, and their bare hands after their ammunition ran out. Despite their situation, the Resistance fighters had encircled a troop of US forces in the al-Kartan area, and were not letting them out. Six US soldiers were stabbed or beaten to death with bayonets and rifle butts. Women in the area of the river have been encouraging the Resistance fighters, supporting them and pulling the bodies of their dead into local houses to protect them from the Americans.

In a report filed at 1:25pm Tuesday, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent indicated that fighters in ar-Ramadi had shot down a US Apache helicopter over the Euphrates River. The craft was on its way to aid US forces cut off in the village of al-Jazirah. The crew of the craft were killed instantly.

The correspondent reported that the Resistance had set 10 various US vehicles ablaze with gasoline after their crews had fled. A second column that advanced to free an encircled group of Americans in al-Jazirah village lost four of its vehicles destroyed ミ two Humvees, a tank and a personnel carrier. Twenty six Americans were killed in as-Sufiyah, according to witnesses. The remaining Americans are advancing towards al-Jazirah, but there are reports confirming that the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” and puppet police had refused to join the Americans, despite orders to do so.

In a dispatch posted at 9:15pm Mecca time, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that heavy armed clashes broke out on Tuesday at 3pm in the village of al-Jazirah in the as-Sufiyah area near ar-Ramadi. Witnesses reported that the battle left a US column of 30 vehicles destroyed and wiped out. A total of 128 American troops were killed, the witnesses reported. Resistance forces seized 89 American weapons, dozens of bullet-proof vests and helmets.

The battle lasted for five continuous hours. Fifty-seven Resistance fighters were martyred, included one Iraqi woman.

A Resistance commander interviewed by Mafkarat al-Islam confirmed those reports. He also denounced al-‘Arabiyah Satellite TV, which had a team in ar-Ramadi, but which dared not film the battle.

The commander warned against any discounting of the fighting ability of the Resistance. He said that every time there are reports of fighting in al-Anbar and elsewhere, “people of little faith lie about and deny the operations carried by their heroic brothers and the extent of the enemy’s losses.” The commander said, “It’s as though they imagine that the American army is some kind of god.” He said, “I tell them that anyone who denies or doubts the facts about these battles, we will take them to one of the battles being fought by the Mujahideen so they can see with their own eyes and confirm that the army of God have the upper hand, and so that they can tell others who deny what’s going on what they have seen.”

The commander, continued, “we don’t want Mafkarat al-Islam or the others to sied with us or to make up feats for us that we have not performed. But we want the Islamic and Arab media to convey to the people what their own correspondents see in Iraq. We want them to report what is happening in the dirty swamp in which the Americans have found themselves.”

The ar-Ramadi correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam added that the Iraqi Resistance had driven him out of al-Jazirah village after a huge force of occupation troops headed in his direction and began a wave of mass arrests and captures. The Americans still encircle the village, although in the course of their wave of arrests, the Americans failed to find any weapons or fighters, except some elderly ones. Fifteen of them were arrested.
