Resistance car bomb kills six US troops in ar-Ramadi.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded as a US column made up of two armored vehicles and four Humvees was passing through the as-Sijariyah area east of ar-Ramadi, Mafkarat al-Islam reported. Witnesses said the car bomb had been parked by the side of the road and that it blew up just as the US patrol was passing, totally destroying one armored vehicle and killing six US troops and wounding three more.

After the attack US forces closed of the area and set up check points. They started storming into houses on raids, arresting 12 persons in the area whom they accused of resisting the US forces.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance rocket attack strikes US troops in occupied school in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 4pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before the Iraqi Resistance had mounted a bombardment of a US occupation troop concentration in the al-Faw School in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent wrote that the Resistance attack targeted the Americans in the school located to the east of al-Fallujah and left seven US troops dead and others wounded.

The correspondent reported a source among the American Marines as saying that “terrorists” had used a Russian-made rocket to attack the al-Faw school, which the American military are using as a local headquarters. He said that the rocket landed next to the school fence and exploded, wounding ミ he claimed ミ some of the troops gathered there.

Corporal Lawson speculated that the rocket had been launched from inside al-Fallujah in what he regarded as a “breach” of the “security” his forces have been trying to impose on the city.

For their part, local witnesses reported that the rocket struck what had formerly been the school guard’s room in the front of the building where American soldiers were gathered to observe and spy on the area.

At the time of reporting, the correspondent wrote that US forces and their Iraqi stooges had completely encircled the school area.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance fires seven rockets into US base in al-Hadithah shortly after midnight Monday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Hadithah reported hearing seven explosions going off with the US base in the city, which lies west of Baghdad, at 1am local time. The correspondent wrote that the explosions were probably the result of a Resistance rocket barrage launched at the base.

Al-Baghdadi.

Resistance pounds US base in al-Baghdadi with Katyusha barrage early Monday.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired several Katyusha rockets at the US al-Baghdadi base west of the Iraqi capital at 5am Monday morning, local time. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than nine Katyusha rockets blasted into the base, according to witnesses. The correspondent reported that columns of smoke could be seen rising over the base which before the US invasion was known as al-Qadisiyah. US helicopters could also be seen crisscrossing the skies overhead for several hours.

Al-Hasibah.

Resistance bombards US camp in al-Hasibah as Americans force themselves into local homes in an attempt to protect themselves from Resistance attacks.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired five mortar rounds into the US base at the customs outpost in al-Hasibah, west of Baghdad on Monday. Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying that meanwhile US forces continued their attacks on the people of the city, threatening them with a blockade.

Resistance forces opened fire on the US-occupied facility at about 6:30pm. American forces then responded, bombarding the area from which the mortar rounds were fired.

Meanwhile US forces imposed a curfew starting at 6pm and deployed patrols in the city. The patrols aroused people’s anger since they stormed into people’s homes where they hurd all the members of the family into one room while they then camp out in the rest of the house. Other of the Americans sleep on the roof, not coming out until sunrise. The aim of such behavior is for the Americans to protect themselves under the roofs of local people from attacks by the Resistance.

US forces called on local tribal leaders to tell the Resistance that it mush stop attacking the invaders inside the city. If they do not, the Americans threatened, they would encircle and besiege the city as they did to ‘Anah and Rawah, other towns in al-Anbar Province.

Baghdad.

Massive deadly Resistance car bombing strikes US checkpoint in Abu Ghurayb early Monday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 2:50pm Monday, Mecca time, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb had exploded at a US check point in Abu Ghurayb a short while earlier. The blast killed a number of US occupation troops and destroyed several vehicles.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the area said that an Opel slammed into the American check point located in the eastern part of the city on the International Highway. At least Nineteen American troops were killed and four Humvees were destroyed, according to Iraqi puppet First Lieutenant Ahmad Kazim, who gave Mafkarat al-Islam the number of US casualties when asked about the extent of damage and loss inflicted by the bombing.

At the time of writing, the correspondent reported that US forces had completely encircled the scene of the attack.

Resistance fighters defend mosque as US Marines try to storm in. Rocket attack on US vehicle kills US Marines, Iraqi spy in ad-Durah.

Iraqi Resistance forces battled US occupation troops in the Abu Dashir are of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Monday after a group of US Marines attempted to storm the Mosque of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab in the area.

The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in the area reported that the fighting broke out at about 10:15am Monday morning local time as Marines tried to storm into the mosque to search it but were met by stiff resistance from defenders of the mosque. Resistance fighters fired a bazooka at the main gate of the mosque where US troops were gathering to storm the place of worship.

Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance rocket attack killed three American Marines immediately. It also totally destroyed the mosque gate. One other American soldier was killed by an Iraqi sniper who was positioned in the mosque’s 15-meter tall minaret, Mafkarat al-Islam reported in a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Monday afternoon Mecca time.

After the Resistance attack US troops began to open fire indiscriminately but with great intensity in all directions since they could not tell the location of the source of the fire aimed at them.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that a US armored Zil vehicle loaded with troops was parked outside the mosque gate and that an anti-tank grenade hit it and destroyed it completely, killing 11 American troops and one Iraqi. The residents of Abu Dashir said that the Iraqi killed in the Resistance rocket attack was the local traitor who denounced the imam of the mosque and those inside to the Americans and led them there, claiming that they were involved in the Iraqi Resistance.

The Americans managed to kill one of the Resistance fighters who attacked their armored vehicle. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported, however, that the Resistance fighters were able to withdraw from the battlefield after withdrawing the Resistance sharpshooter in the minaret who had been surrounded by the American occupation troops. A witness told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US troops did not enter the mosque after the battle that lasted about 15 minutes. The Americans called in Iraqi puppet forces shortly after the clash and they pursued the Resistance fighters as they withdrew. Bulgaria: US forces killed Bulgarian occupation soldier.

The Bulgarian Minister of Defense announced that one of its occupation soldiers in Iraq was killed by “friendly fire” from US troops. The Minister, Nikolai Svinarov, said “The result (of the investigation) gives us enough grounds to believe the death of Private Gardi Gardev was caused by friendly fire,” Svinarov told reporters.

Gardev's death Friday came the same day as US troops fired on a vehicle carrying Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena, wounding her and killing an Italian intelligence officer who negotiated her release from Resistance fighters.

Svinarov said the incident involving Gardev began when a Bulgarian patrol was approached by a civilian Iraqi car. The vehicle did not stop after the patrol gave a signal, and the Bulgarian occupation troops fired warning shots in the air from the north.
Shortly after the warning shots were fired, the patrol “became the target of massive fire from the west,” where a U.S. Army communications site was located about 150 meters away, Svinarov said.

First reports had said that the Bulgarian soldier was killed in battle with Resistance fighters.

After the fall of the Warsaw Treaty Organization some 15 years ago, Bulgaria became a satellite of the United States and NATO. Like other east European countries, Bulgaria has responded to Washington’s commands and sent troops to help support the American occupation of Iraq.

German regime to train more Iraqi puppet troops in UAE.

The German Chancellor Gerhard Schr單er announced on Monday that his country would be training 250 puppet troops for the US imposed regime in Iraq. The training is to take place in the United Arab Emirates. The Spanish Europa Press reported that during a visit to Abu Dhabi Schr單er said that Germany would send 70 military trainers to the UAE during April and May to begin training the US-recruited Iraqi puppet forces.

The German regime began training puppet forces for the American occupation regime in Iraq in the year 2004 when 440 puppet officers were trained in the UAE.

Germany, a NATO satellite of the United States, opposed the US invasion of Iraq under strong pressure from the country’s population. The German government remains unwilling to send troops to aid the Americans in Iraq, for fear of massive public reaction at home. But it has agreed to help out its American master in less high-profile ways, such as by training Iraqi puppet troops in countries neighboring Iraq.
