「ホロコースト国際漫画コンテスト」に関連して、イランの文化面での”活躍”ぶりについて。
2月19日付、「Iranian Student's News Agency」によると、今年度の「ベルリン映画フェスティバル」でイランのJafar Panahi 監督の映画「Offside」と、デンマークのPernile Fisher Christenzen監督の映画「En Soap」に、それぞれ「銀熊賞」が授与されたそうだ（これは面白い組み合わせだ・・・笑。何か政治的な配慮でもあるのか？）。
「金熊賞」は、ボスニアのJasmila Zbanic監督の映画「Grbavica」との事。
イランの作品は、ボスニアの作品と接戦だったが、「金熊賞」は逃がしたということだ。

Tehran, Feb 19 (ISNA)-In Berlin's Film Festival closing ceremony, the Silver Bear award was shared between "Offside" by Jafar Panahi from Iran and Pernile Fisher Christenzen's "En Soap" from Denmark and the Golden Bear of this Festival was granted to "Grbavica" by Jasmila Zbanic from Bosnia.
According to ISNA, in the last day of this festival there was a close competition between the Golden Bear winner and "Offside".
When Jafar Panahi won, he thanked all those who had stood beside him in the production of his film.
"I'm sorry that I was not able to bring all those who accompanied me in the production of this film," he said.
Jafar Panahi after receiving the award was vastly interviewed by reporters. He regarding his feelings had said that his real award would be when he had returned to Iran and put his picture on Iranian cinema curtains.
Shadmehr Rastin, "Off side" writer had also commented that this film in a festival which had many Hollywood films in it, still at the end won the award.
