Al-Baghdadi.

Resistance bomb kills five US troops near al-Baghdadi Wednesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded by a US military column on the strategic road that links al-Baghdadi with Hit in western Iraq at 11am Wednesday morning. Al-Baghdadi residents who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb blew up as a column of nine US Humvees was passing. The explosion totally destroyed one Humvee, killing its five-soldier crew.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the strategic road is used exclusively by American patrols and convoys.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance bomb targets US patrol north of al-Hadithah Wednesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the Barwanah area north of al-Hadithah at 11am Wednesday morning, local time. Owners of groves in the village of Barwanah who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb had been planted in the middle of an unpaved farm road and that it exploded under one of the vehicles in the American patrol. That vehicle was totally destroyed and three American soldiers killed and two more injured in the blast.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb destroys US truck near al-Fallujah, killing driver Wednesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the highway near al-Fallujah on Wednesday morning. A source in the Iraqi puppet police told QudsPress that the blast destroyed one American truck, killing its driver instantly.

The source said that the truck burned for a long time after the attack as American troops encircled the area and closed the highway to all traffic. Several helicopters were observed prowling the skies over the area.

Resistance bomb targets US patrol in northern al-Fallujah Wednesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded near a US patrol by the as-Sajar Bridge in the vicinity of the northern entrance to al-Fallujah at about 8am Wednesday morning, local time. Residents of the al-Jaghifi neighborhood in the northeast of al-Fallujah who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb had been hidden under a pile of garbage by the side of the road.

It exploded as the US patrol of two Humvees was passing on its way north, out of the city, killing three US troops and wounding two more, Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses as saying.

QudsPress reported that the blast destroyed one Humvee and wounded several Americans aboard it.

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces at that hour were still encircling the whole area and were still enforcing a curfew as they raided and searched houses near to the place of the attack. QudsPress reported that the Americans arrested a number of local men after the bombing.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired 16 mortar rounds and Grad rockets into the US al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi at 7am Wednesday morning local time. Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the barrage targeted various areas inside the base. After the Resistance bombardment, the American base was rocked by a series of explosions.

The witnesses said that the Americans responded by firing more than five artillery rounds from inside their compound towards the north of ar-Ramadi. The American return fire left three Iraqi civilians dead, one of them a woman, and wounded others, but failed to harm any of the Resistance fighters.

The AP said, however that the US military and diplomats claimed that they were unaware of any Americans being in the supply convoy.

Reporters who returned to the scene on Wednesday said they saw four more bodies, the AP noted, adding that those bodies were still there as were Resistance fighters.

For his part, Mbulelo Mtilwa of the South African Embassy in Jordan told the AP that a South African was part of the convoy but said that they had no information if he had been killed, wounded or captured.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired seven Katyusha rockets into the US Marine base set up in the Customs Office in the city of al-Qa’im on the border with Syria at 10pm Tuesday night, local time. A major in the Iraqi puppet military told Mafkarat al-Islam that the barrage left 17 US Marines dead and a number of others wounded in varying degrees of severity. The wounded were evacuated to the American-occupied ‘Ayn al-Asad air base by helicopter.

Residents of al-Qa’im who live near the base met with the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent and said that fires blazed in the American-occupied facility for about an hour and a half after the bombardment. They watched as US helicopters took off loaded with casualties.

The US occupation forces acknowledged the attack in a broadcast over their al-Hurriyah propaganda radio station beamed at al-Anbar Province. The American broadcast said that the bombardment resulted in American casualties, but did not specify the nature or number of those losses.

Members of the motorcade managed to kill three of the Resistance attackers but another one was able to leave the scene.

After the attack, US and Iraqi puppet forces encircled the area and evacuated the dead and wounded. None of the Iraqi puppet troops or the Americans were willing to disclose the identity of the target of the attack, but a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet police told the correspondent who the official was.

Iraqi puppet “president” Jalal at-Talibani praises Badr Brigade death squad gunmen for protecting the “democratic political process.”

At the Second Founding Congress of the Shi‘i Badr Organization, the puppet “president” of occupied Iraq, Kurdish chauvinist Jalal at-Talibani, praised the Badr Brigades, saying that they, along with the Kurdish chauvinist Peshmergah gunmen, were “playing an important role at the present time in fighting armed groups that are trying to wreck the political process and defeat the political plans for Iraq,” in a reference to the determination of the Iraqi Resistance not to allow the occupation regime and its hand-picked stooge regime any shred of legitimacy.

The American Associated Press quoted at-Talibani as saying to the Badr Brigades, “You and your (Kurdish) brothers are the heroes of liberating Iraq,” in reference to their collaboration with the US forces when they invaded Iraq.

The Badr Brigades, the armed wing of the collaborationist so-called Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI), invaded Iraq together with US soldiers in the spring of 2003 and since then have formed the backbone of the puppet police forces working for the occupation regime, particularly in southern parts of Iraq.

Particularly since the installation of the puppet “government” of Shi‘i chauvinist Ibrahim al-Ja‘fari in April, the Badr Brigades, often acting as members of the puppet police and security forces, have been involved in numerous acts of abduction, torture, imprisonment, and murder of Sunni Iraqis as part of a campaign to stir up sectarian strife in the country.

The Board of Muslim ‘Ulama’ Scholars, the highest Sunni religious authority in occupied Iraq denounced puppet “president” at-Talibani’s praise for the Badr Brigade death squads, noting that the “president’s” remarks “conform to the American political line of prolonging the conflict in Iraq and turning it into an internal conflict among Iraqis.”

In May the Chairman of the Board of Muslim ‘Ulama’ Shaykh Harith Sulayman ad-Darri openly accused the Badr Brigades by name of murdering Sunni religious leaders in the country, noting that he was fully responsible for his accusation.

Kurdish chauvinist puppet leader claims relations with “Israel” are “not a crime.”

Mas‘ud Barzani, Kurdish chauvinist and puppet “president” of the predominantly Kurdish area in northern occupied Iraq, told the London newspaper al-Hayat on Tuesday that for the Kurds to have relations with “Israel” is “no crime.” Barzani said that in the event that the Zionist colonial entity opened an “embassy” in Baghdad, it would be possible that an “Israeli” consulate would also open in Irbil, the “capital” of the so-called Kurdistan region of occupied Iraq.

Salah ad-Din Province.

Bayji.

Resistance bomb blasts oil pipeline supplying northern Iraq.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up an oil pipeline near the Northern Fertilizer Company in Bayji. According to sources in the Iraqi petroleum industry who spoke with QudsPress, the pipeline that was destroyed in the blast was carrying petroleum products to the northern, predominantly Kurdish area of occupied Iraq.

The blast set fire to the pipeline, the sources said, adding that at that time firefighters were still trying to get the blaze under control. The sources said that the destruction of the line would halt the pumping of oil products to northern Iraq.

Resistance bombards US base near Bayji early Wednesday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired 10 Grad rockets into the US military base located in the as-Siniyah area west of Bayji (which lies north of Baghdad) at 2pm local time Wednesday afternoon. Residents of the as-Siniyah area told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US-occupied camp was shaken by 10 powerful explosions from the rockets, which sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky over the facility.

Ad-Dawr.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in ad-Dawr at noon Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded by a US patrol in ad-Dawr at about 12 noon local time Wednesday, the US military admitted in an official statement. The Americans acknowledged that one American soldier was killed in the explosion, according to an Agence France Presse (AFP) dispatch.

US admits two soldiers killed in bombardment of US base in Tikrit Tuesday night.

Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a barrage of mortar shells or rockets on a US base in Tikrit late on Tuesday, according to a US military statement reported by Agence France Press (AFP). The US military admitted that two American troops were killed in the barrage.

The AFP reported that the “Knights of the ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib Brigade” of the Islamic Army Resistance group posted leaflets in Tikrit taking responsibility for firing “a barrage of mortars and rockets at the citadel of infidels in the center of Tirkit.”

Balad.

US admits soldier killed in Balad attack Tuesday.

An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded in Balad, north of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing one US soldier according to an official admission by the US military authorities reported Wednesday by Agence France Presse (AFP).

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Mysterious car bomb reportedly targets fuel station.

A car bomb exploded by a line of cars outside a fuel station in Ba‘qubah, killing at least three civilians and wounding another according to a statement by the puppet police reported by Reuters.

Witnesses told Reuters that a man drove a car into the line of vehicles outside the gas station, got out of the car and disappeared. Minutes later the car exploded in flames.

Reuters reported eyewitnesses as saying that no puppet security personnel ミ frequent targets of Resistance attacks ミ had been near the car at the time of the blast, 65 km north of Baghdad.

Ninwa Province.

Tall ‘Afar.

Resistnce car bomber blasts US patrol near Tall ‘Afar at noon Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-packed Caprice car into a US military column in the city of Tall ‘Afar, west of Mosul on Wendesday.

Residents of the village of ash-Shadid east of Tall ‘Afar told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance fighter drove his Caprice into the midst of the column of eight American armored vehicles and four Humvees that was headed down the road towards the center of Tall ‘Afar.

At 12 noon, local time, when he was among the American vehicles, the martyrdom fighter blew himself and his car up, destroying one US armored vehicle and setting a Humvee on fire. Five American troops were killed and three more wounded in the attack.

Mosul.

Resistance liquidates puppet police chief for Talkif district in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked and killed the puppet chief of police for Talkif in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

More than 30 masked Resistance fighters got out of cars at the Talkif crossing in the middle of the city and hurled hand grenades and unleashed a hail of medium weight machine gun bullets on the motorcade of the area puppet police chief. The attack left the puppet official and several puppet policemen who had also been in the motorcade dead.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops at the time of writing were still encircling the scene of the attack and raiding and searching houses looking for the attackers. All the Resistance fighters, however, quickly left the scene after the attack suffering no casualties in the engagement. Witnesses in the neighborhood told Mafkarat al-Islam that as soon as they saw the Resistance fighters approaching, almost all the members of the puppet police in the motorcade fled, leaving the chief alone with just a handful of his men.

Dhi Qar Province.

An-Nasiriyah.

Resistance bomb leaves four British troops dead Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb planted under an electric pole exploded by a British patrol in the Suq ash-Shuyukh area in the middle of an-Nasiriyah south of Baghdad on Wednesday. Witnesses told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in an-Nasiriyah that the blast destroyed a British Jeep and killed four British troops and wounded others who were in the vehicle behind the one destroyed by the bomb.

The witnesses said that the British then arrested four Sunni men who were known to frequent the mosques on charges that they carried out Wednesday’s attack.

Al-Basrah Province.

Al-Basrah.

Details of torture and mutilation of Sunni religious man by Badr Brigade/puppet police.

In a follow up to Tuesday’s report on the discovery of the tortured and mutilated body of Shaykh ‘Abd as-Salam ‘Abd al-Karim al-Kardisi hanging from the Muhammad al-Qasim Bridge in al-Basrah, the Mafkarat al-Islam website on Wednesday published photographs of al-Kardisi’s body and a detailed report on the nature of the mutilation he suffered.

Al-Kardisi, the one-legged muezzin of the as-Saqr Mosque in al-Basrah’s al-Barradi‘iyah area, was abducted from his home on Sunday by masked members of the Shi‘i chauvinist collaborationist Badr Brigades.

Al-Kardisi was abducted by some 50 Badr Brigade gunmen, most of them in puppet police uniforms after the sunset prayer on Sunday, 5 June 2005.

The Badr Brigade, the armed wing of the collaborationist so-called Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) invaded Iraq together with US soldiers in the spring of 2003 and since then have formed the backbone of the puppet police forces working for the occupation regime, particularly in southern parts of Iraq.

As documented in the photographs published by Mafkarat al-Islam at: http://www.islammemo.cc/news/one_news.asp?IDnews=68405,

al-Kardisi suffered the following torture and mutilation:

- His right eye was completely plucked out. A wound, 2cm in diameter, penetrating into his head can be seen next to the eye socket.

- Signs of torture by electric shock on his hands and arms, as evidenced by the blackening of the fingers.
