Al-Anbar Province.
Al-Qa'im.

In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that more than 40 US Marines had been killed in
bloody battles with the Iraqi Resistance in the villages of
ar-Rummanah and al-Karabilah north and east of al-Qa'im on the border
with Syria.

The al-Qa'im correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi
Resistance forces at dawn mounted a fierce rocket attack on US
positions on the outskirts of those villages, killing and wounding
dozens of American troops. Residents said that after the fearsome
attack, US troops stormed into the houses of local people to sleep
there, using the civilians as human shields.

For its part the Iraqi Resistance in the city issued a communiqu, a
copy of which was obtained by Mafkarat al-Islam, saying that their
fighters had killed more than 40 American troops.

The US admitted in one of the communiqu市 issued by the American
operations command in al-Anbar Province that 15 US troops had been
killed and seven more wounded.

Resistance announces death of notorious US general commanding American
forces in al-Qa'im.

In a dispatch posted at 12:45pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance had issued a statement a
short time before in which it announced that their forces had killed
US General "Drinkwine," the commander of US operations in al-Qa'im.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Qa'im reported that the
body of the American general was found with the crew of a US
helicopter shot down a short while earlier over ar-Rummanah village.
The General was aboard an Apache helicopter observing the situation of
his military units in the area. The correspondent personally
confirmed the downing of the American helicopter, noting that at the
time of reporting fire was still burning in the wreckage of the craft.

Later in the day the Base [Qa`idah] of the Jihad in the Land of the
Two Rivers issued a communiqu that circulated in the local al-Qa'im
area and took responsibility for shooting down the American general's
helicopter.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam cautioned that the general's
name "Drinkwine" might be a sort of nickname, as American field
commanders in recent weeks have taken to adopting names intended to
intimidate or enrage the Iraqi Resistance and to raise the morale of
the American invader troops.

The correspondent noted, for example that two days ago a US officer at
a press conference in the American occupation headquarters in the
Republican Palace area of Baghdad, known to the Americans as the
"green zone," introduced himself as "Bull." That nickname was
presumably not intended to reflect the officer's limited intellectual
abilities or insensate brutality, but his supposed strength and
courage, in keeping with a viewpoint that the Mafkarat al-Islam
correspondent identified as Spanish in origin.

In another such example, the correspondent cited an American field
lieutenant who identified himself as "Thunder." That name appeared in
a communiqu issued by the 4th Marine Division in the al-Ba`aj area of
Mosul dated 3 May 2005 in which the Americans boasted that they would
soon be arresting Jordanian Islamist Abu Mus`ab az-Zarqawi.

Whatever the true name of the American general shot down and killed on
Wednesday, the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that he
was the same American general who issued an infamous statement during
the last American siege of al-Qa'im three weeks ago when he threatened
the Iraqi Resistance saying, "we'll beat them even if Muhammad and
Muhammad's Lord are with them."

US destroys mosque near al-Qa'im, killing five.

US forces rocketed the Great Mosque in the town of al-`Ubaydi, east of
al-Qa'im at dawn Wednesday, claiming that Iraqi Resistance fighters
were inside. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that
American F-16 fighter bombers fired three rockets into the mosque,
causing extensive damage. The attack also killed the mosque
custodian, an elderly man aged 75, according to the man's son who
spoke with Mafkarat al-Islam. Four other people who were in the
mosque at the time also perished.

The American attack on the mosque comes amidst a large-scale US
offensive on the people of al-Qa'im and surrounding towns lying near
the Iraq-Syria border.

Resistance pounds US positions near al-Karabilah village Wednesday
afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a fierce bombardment of a US
concentration point north of the area of al-Karabilah at 4pm Wednesday
afternoon local time. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in
al-Qa'im reported that the barrage destroyed several US vehicles.
Refugees from the area around the village told the correspondent that
Resistance fighters attacked the American position from two directions
ミ the south and the west ミ with medium range Katyusha rockets and
120mm mortars.

The witnesses said they saw a number of US vehicles on fire as a
result of the attack, sending clouds of smoke rising over the area
north of al-Karabilah.

by the side of the road linking al-Jazirah with ar-Ramadi blew up by a
column of three US armored vehicles and two Humvees. The blast
destroyed one Humvee and disabled an armored vehicle, killing four US
troops and wounding four others.

Al-Hadithah.

US military ransack, set fire to al-Hadithah General Hospital.
Director pleads for help to re-equip crucial medical facility that
served all of western Iraq.

The Director of al-Hadithah General Hospital called on humanitarian
organizations and all decent people in the world to save his city from
a humanitarian disaster that now looms over it, after US troops
barbarically raided the hospital, destroying and burning large parts
of the facility.

Dr. Walid al-`Ubaydi announced that the damage done by the savage
American raids on his hospital had destroyed 90 percent of the
building, bringing to a halt all of its health services to the
population.

Dr. al-`Ubaydi said that the American troops had smashed doors and
windows in the hospital. They wrecked the kidney dialysis machine
unit, damaged the maternity ward, and the operating room.

Dr. al-`Ubaydi called "on all the humanitarian organizations and
people of good will who hear our voice to hurry to re-equip the
hospital, if only partially, particularly since this is a central
hospital where all difficult cases in the whole western part of Iraq
are brought for treatment."

Dr. al-`Ubaydi asked for urgent necessities to be supplied ミ such as
all types of medicines, especially those used for emergency cases, as
well as material assistance in re-equipping the hospital after the
devastation wrought by the American forces.

Iraqi Resistance bomb kills three US troops early Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the city of
al-Hadithah at 7am Wednesday morning. Residents of the city who
witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb blew up by a
column of five US Humvees on the highway that links Hadithah with the
city of al-Qa'im on the Syrian border. The blast destroyed one
Humvee, killing three US troops and seriously wounding one other.

Al-Fallujah.

Five US troops killed in midday bombing in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Wednesday afternoon, the correspondent
for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Fallujah reported that a short while
before an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol opposite the
Department of Civil Defense in al-Fallujah. A source in the puppet
so-called "Iraqi national guard" told the correspondent that five US
troops were killed and one wounded in the blast.

Afterwards, US forces surrounded the scene of the bombing and opened
fire around the area indiscriminately.

Baghdad.

Resistance car bomb kills at least four at puppet police station in
ad-Durah.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded outside a puppet police station
in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Wednesday, killing at
least four and wounding dozens, Mafkarat al-Islam reported Reuters as
saying.

Salah ad-Din Province.
Tikrit.

Resistance car bomb targets workers on US occupation building projects.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that a car bomb blew up in the middle of
a group of Shi`i workers who had been trucked into Tikrit from the
south of the country. The blast left 33 dead and some 60 wounded.

The Resistance group Army of the Partisans of the Sunnah [Prophet's
Practice] took responsibility for the attack in a statement on the
Internet, Reuters reported.

The statement of the Partisans of the Sunnah announced: "Today your
brothers prepared a booby-trapped car and placed it on the square in
the city of Tikrit. Through this square pass dozens of apostate
workers who work inside the American base there. Those workers are a
bunch of apostates who have sold their religion and are content to be
the servants and tails of the Crusaders."

The Partisans of the Sunnah went on to say: "We are not among those
who attack Muslim civilians or anyone who has no connection with this
war . . . but we do target workers who work inside an American base,
helping the Americans who are shedding the blood of the Muslims every
day."

Ninwa Province.
Mosul.

Resistance car bomber kills four US troops in Mosul midday Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden
Mercedes car into a US armored column in Mosul at 12 noon local time
Wednesday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the city
reported residents of the Sumar neighborhood who witnessed the attack
as saying that the explosion destroyed one American armored vehicle
and killed four US soldiers and wounded two more.

At-Ta'mim Province.
Kirkuk.

Resistance bombardment leaves four US troops dead in Kirkuk Wednesday
morning.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired a barrage of medium-range Grad rockets
and heavy 120mm mortars into the main US base in Kirkuk on Wednesday
morning. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the city reported
a member of the puppet so-called "rapid deployment force" as saying
that the bombardment destroyed several US vehicles and killed four
American troops and wounded nine more.

Al-Huwayjah.

Resistance attacker blows up 19 would-be recruits to puppet army.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter with an explosives belt strapped
about him walked into a recruiting center for the puppet military and
blew himself up, killing 19 and wounding 25 collaborators, the Iraqi
puppet police reported Wednesday morning, according to a Reuters
dispatch monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam.

Al-Muthanna Province.
As-Samawah.

Resistance bombs target Japanese invader troops late Wednesday night.

Powerful blasts were reported in the southern Iraqi city of as-Samawah
late on Wednesday evening according to the Japanese Kyodo Tsushin
agency, which covers news of the Japanese aggressor contingent based
in the city.

Al-Basrah Province.
Al-Basrah.

Puppet regime arrests more members of al-Basrah's Sunni community.

At 4am puppet security forces arrested four members of al-Basrah's
Sunni community, including the imam of the al-Qiblah Mosque and his
son and an in-law. Also arrested was the muezzin of the ar-Rahman
mosque, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.

Witnesses reported that two days before, a patrol of British troops
came to the area to identify the houses of Sunnis living in the area.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam concluded that the British
were themselves involved in a plot to stoke sectarianism in the
country with the aim of splitting the Iraqi people on sectarian lines.

The correspondent noted that 11 of the Sunnis arrested in the nearby
town of Abu al-Khasib had been released on Tuesday after the invaders
could find no evidence of any kind against them.
