Summary of the Iraqi Resistance Activities
From 10 to 16/4/2005
In the name of God most merciful most compassionate
The losses of the occupation forces and their mercenaries:
During the period from 10 ﾐ 16/4/2005, the Supreme Command of the Resistance and Liberation Forces has issued eleven military communiqu市 on the redemptive operations and heroic clashes against the occupation forces, the mercenaries and their collaborators. Those clashes and operations were carried out in: Baghdad, Abu-ghraib, Haditha, Aldoura, Saddam International Airport, Almuthanna Airport, Almansour, Alamiriya, Alqa’em, Basra, Najaf, Sulaimania, Karbala, Arbeel, Aldour, Sa’marra, Tikrit, Mosul, Al-anbar, Alramadi, Fallujah, Almahaweel etc.. Around 50% of the operations were carried out in and around the capital Baghdad, and the overall losses of the occupation forces and their mercenaries were summed up as follows:
*262 killed.
*360 injured.
*2 helicopters “Black Hawk” were shot down.
*4 un-manned reconnaissance planes were shot down.
*5 main oil pipelines were set ablaze.
Redemptive epics and scenes from the heroic Iraqi Resistance:
One US Apache was shot down by the Iraqi Resistance in Alqa’em:
The valiant Iraqi Resistance has succeeded in shooting down one US helicopter type Apache at “Alkarabila” region south west of Alqa’em near the Syrian- Iraqi borders west of the capital Baghdad. The helicopter was seen descending shortly before it crashed, and the fate of the crew remained unknown.
Bloody clashes going on in Alqa’em, where also 2 helicopters were shot down:
The fiercest clashes yet were conducted between the Iraqi Resistance on one hand and the American forces incorporated two divisions- the commandoes and the marines- on the other hand, the clashes were taken part in the north, south, east and west of the city.
While the occupation forces succeeded in infiltrating through the administrative borders of the city by 3 km following the heavy bombardment by F-16 & 18 fighters, the Resistance Forces managed to shoot down 2 Apaches, during which the use of helicopters were suspended and replaced by the use of fighters.
Furthermore, a spokesman from the Iraqi army assigned by the occupation forces acknowledged that 36 US military vehicles were completely destroyed during last Wednesday’s clashes. The wreckage still on ablaze at the borders of Alqa’em, and the spokesman also acknowledged the killing of 71 US soldier.
The Iraqi Resistance missiles shot down a US helicopter “Black Hawk” in Alkhalidiya”:
The Iraqi Resistance militants in Alkhalidiya- 30 km west of Fallujah- succeeded in shooting down one US helicopter type “Black Hawk”. It was descending on ablaze over “Aljamhouri Attawabiq” factory in the northern eastern part of the city.
The helicopter was targeted by a surface to air missile (SAM 7), while the US occupation forces searched the wreckage and went over the factory’s roof to in an attempt to collect the scattered disintegrated bodies of the crew.
