Resistance martyrdom fighter blasts US column Friday morning; seven Americans reported dead.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-packed car into a US military column on 20 Street in the middle of ar-Ramadi at 9am local time Friday morning.

A source in the Iraqi puppet army, who asked not to be identified, told Mafkarat al-Islam that a Resistance fighter driving a Caprice blasted into the front of the American column, destroying two Humvees and killing seven US troops and wounding three more.

In his dispatch posted at 10:25am Mecca time, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at the time of writing US forces were still encircling the area where the attack took place.

Two US troops reported killed in Friday morning bombing.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the at-Ta’mim area in the south of ar-Ramadi at about 7am local time Friday morning.

Residents of at-Ta’mim told Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that was planted by the side of University Road in the south of at-Ta’mim blew up as the US patrol passed by, headed towards al-Anbar University. The explosion destroyed a Humvee, killing two US troops and wounding two more American soldiers.

Al-Habbaniyah.

Resistance pummels US base in al-Habbaniyah at noon Friday.

Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a fierce rocket attack on the US base in the city of al-Habbaniyah at 12 noon local time.

Witnesses told the al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance fired 17 powerful Grad rockets at the base and added that the missiles scored direct hits on the US-occupied facility.

The witnesses said that plumes of smoke rose into the sky over the base after the bombardment as huge Chinook helicopters flew into the area.

The witnesses reported that the American forces responded to the bombardment by firing back at where they thought the rockets had been launched, but there were no reports that they hit any of the Resistance attackers.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb blasts US column near ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah Friday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 11:40pm Mecca time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the road linking ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah with al-Habbaniyah Friday afternoon.

The ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance bomb totally burned a US Humvee in the column. The correspondent had no information on the extent or nature of US casualties.

Resistance pounds US targets around al-Fallujah early Friday.

Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded a number of positions occupied by US forces in al-Fallujah, 50km west of Baghdad, at dawn Friday.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses as saying that at 2am local time the Resistance fired four Grad rockets into the regional government building ﾐ currently occupied by US forces and used as one of their headquarters.

At about the same time the Resistance fired two Grad rockets into the Dahham House, a local mansion that the US occupation troops have also taken over and turned into a headquarters in the an-Nazal neighborhood of the city.

The Resistance fired another four Grad rockets into the headquarters of US and Iraqi puppet so-called “national guards” in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood of the city.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent indicated that after the rocket attack on those facilities, the sound of intense gunfire could be heard. The correspondent was unable to ascertain the extent or nature of US losses because of the curfew that was still in force in the pre-dawn hours.

Baghdad.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet base in ad-Durah Friday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a rocket attack on the joint US-Iraqi puppet force base in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at 4pm local time Friday afternoon.

Residents of ad-Durah told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that four medium-range Grad rockets slammed into the joint US-Iraqi puppet base in the southern part of ad-Durah, sending smoke billowing into the sky.

Witnesses reported that US Black Hawk helicopters emblazoned with a red cross flew in after the attack and landed inside the base, indicating that the attack had inflicted casualties.

Resistance mounts multiple attack on US column in Abu Ghurayb area early Friday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces twice attacked a US column on the main road in the az-Zaydan area in western Abu Ghurayb (which is 30km west of Baghdad) on Friday afternoon.

Witnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Abu Ghurayb that the first attack took place at 2pm local time when two Resistance bombs that had been planted on a farm road at the eastern entrance to the az-Zaydan area exploded. The first bomb blew up as the US column was passing, destroying one Humvee.

After that explosion had brought the column to a halt, the second bomb went off, witnesses said, some five meters from the place where the first device had detonated. The second bomb set another American vehicle on fire.

After the second explosion, Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the Americans. The witnesses reported that the multiple attack left nine Americans dead or wounded.

Resistance bomb blasts US armored column in ar-Ridwaniyah late Friday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US armored column on the main road leading to the ash-Shurtah al-Khamisah area in the city of ar-Ridwaniyah southwest of Baghdad at about 11am Friday morning local time.

Residents of Suraysar village in ar-Ridwaniyah told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that was planted by the side of the road leading to ash-Shurtah al-Khamisa in the east of ar-Ridwaniyah blew up as a column of four US armored vehicles and three Humvees passed by.

The explosion set one of the American armored vehicles on fire, killing or wounding all the members of the six-man crew.

In his dispatch on the attack, posted at 11:10am Mecca time, the correspondent reported that US forces had closed off the area where the attack took place, preventing residents and journalists from approaching.

Resistance roadside bomb in at-Taji leaves a reported three US troops dead.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the highway in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji at 10am local time Friday morning.

Residents of at-Taji told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that was planted by the side of the highway leading to Samarra’ in the north exploded as a column of two US armored vehicles and six Humvees passed by. The blast set one Humvee on fire, killing three US troops and wounding one other American soldier.

Al-Iskandariyah.

Resistance attack leaves six mercenaries dead near al-Iskandariyah.

In a dispatch posted at 6:55pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a column of armored cars of the type used by foreigners working for the mercenary “security companies” as contract security men for the American occupation troops. The Resistance attack took place on the highway that leads to the center of the city of al-Iskandariyah, south of Baghdad.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Iskandariyah reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, including RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades and BKC machine guns, attacked the convoy of four armored cars. Two of the armor-plated vehicles were set on fie and six foreigners working with the US military were killed. The other two foreign vehicles fled the scene.

Resistance martyrdom attack leaves two volunteer puppet troops dead.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter on an explosives-laden motorcycle blew himself up by a bus carrying a group of volunteer puppet soldiers in the east of Balad, killing two of the would-be puppet soldiers and wounding two more, according to a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet army quoted by the Saudi Press Agency (WAS) in a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Friday afternoon, Mecca time.

Samarra’.

Resistance bomb kills Iraqi puppet soldier in Samarra’.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet patrol in Samarra’, according to a source in the Iraqi puppet army. The Saudi Press Agency (WAS) reported in a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Friday afternoon, Mecca time, that the puppet army source said that one Iraqi puppet soldier was killed and another wounded in the bombing.

The source added that the bomb destroyed a vehicle belonging to the Iraqi puppet forces and set one American Humvee on fire.

Resistance bomb blasts truck in US supply convoy.

In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Mecca time Friday, the Saudi Press Agency (WAS) reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up under a truck that was part of a convoy hauling supplies to the US forces in the at-Tarimiyah area on Friday. A source in the Iraqi puppet police told WAS that the Iraqi collaborator driver of the truck was killed and his companion injured in the blast.

Resistance battles US, Iraqi puppet forces in Ba‘qubah area.

In a dispatch posted at 9:45am Mecca time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded a joint US-Iraqi puppet base in the city of Diyala northeast of Baghdad with mortars and medium-range Katyusha rockets. Resistance fighters also engaged in combat with US and Iraqi puppet troops in Ba‘qubah city.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam’s correspondent in the city reported that Resistance forces bombarded the joint US-Iraqi puppet camp in Khan Bani Sa‘d with six mortar rounds, totally destroying the camp and killing or injuring nine US and Iraqi troops.

The Resistance also bombarded the joint camp set up at the western entrance to the city of Diyala with four medium-range Katyusha rockets, setting fires and sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Fierce battles erupted between the Resistance armed with light and medium weapons, including RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades and BKC machine guns, and US forces together with their Iraqi stooges in several neighborhoods of Ba‘qubah, leaving more than 20 US and Iraqi troops dead and wounded.

Resistance bombards US al-Bakarah base.

In a dispatch posted at 10:15am Mecca time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US headquarters known as al-Bakarah Base located in the al-Hawijah area southwest of Kirkuk.

Residents of al-Hawijah told Mafkarat al-Islam that six Katyusha rockets blasted into the midst of the US base, producing six violent explosions that shook the camp and sent smoke billowing into the sky over various parts of the facility.

Ninwa Province.
Al-Ba‘aj.

US totally bans Friday prayers in al-Ba‘aj, claiming worshipers head out afterward to attack Americans.

In a serious precedent, US forces have prevented the Iraqis living in the al-Ba‘aj area from holding Friday congregational prayers in all mosques in the area.

The al- Ba‘aj correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the area as saying that US forces distributed leaflets from their vehicles as they drove around the city announcing that an order had been issued banning the local people from holding Friday congregational prayers on this day. The excuse the Americans gave for prohibiting normal religious activity was that what they called “suspects” were among those who go to worship in the mosques and that after the Friday services they go out directly to attack US occupation forces deployed in the city.

The correspondent reported that dozens of additional US military vehicles had come into the town. A large number of soldiers were posted at the doors of every mosque, and they ordered the mosque caretakers and preachers not to open the doors of their houses of worship.

Tall ‘Afar.

Two US troops reported killed, three soldiers wounded in Resistance bombing Friday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column on the main road near the northern entrance to Tall ‘Afar at 3pm local time Friday afternoon.

A source in the puppet so-called “Iraqi rapid deployment forces,” who asked not to be identified, told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Tall ‘Afar that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road linking al-‘Ayyadiyah village to Tall ‘Afar in the south, blew up as a column of six US armored vehicles passed near the entrance to the city.

The source said that the explosion set one American armored vehicle on fire, killing two US troops and wounding three more.

Rabiah.

Martyrdom bomber kills 25 would be puppet soldiers.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom attacker blasted into a gathering of volunteers for the Iraqi puppet forces in the town of Rabiah, near the Syrian border, northwest of Mosul, killing 25 and wounding 35 more, according to the puppet police. The attack occurred outside a municipal building. Reuters, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, reported that the Resistance organization Base Qa‘idah of the Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers in a statement posted on the Internet took responsibility for the attack.

According to the report, the Internet statement by al-Qa‘idah reported that the Iraqi martyrdom fighter walked into the recruiting center, proclaimed “There is no god but God!”, and blew himself up.
