Baghdad.

Iraqi Resistance issues joint national warning of impending “black days” for occupation forces, tell Iraqis “to stay far away from US troops and their stooges.”

In a dispatch posted at 6:50pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short time before the Iraqi Resistance had circulated statements and notices in Baghdad, al-Fallujah, Mosul, Samarra’, Diyala and other Iraqi cities, warning all Iraqi civilians to stay far away from occupation army vehicles, occupation military camps and bases, and checkpoints on the streets during the next few days.

The notice, a copy of which was obtained by the Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam, warned that coming days would be “as black as the darkest night for the occupation forces and their stooges.”

In the statement, the Iraqi Resistance said that this was the final warning and held itself to be excused in case any Iraqi was killed while in the proximity of an occupation target. The Resistance expressed its regret that “dozens of armed operations” in which dozens of American troops could have been wiped out, had in the past been aborted because there were Iraqis near the occupation forces at the time.

The statement, which was signed by six Iraqi Resistance groups ミ the Army of the Ansar as-Sunnah, al-Qa‘idah Organization in the Land of the Two Rivers, the Islamic Army, the Army of Muhammad, the Army of the Mujahideen, and the Brigades of the 1920 Revolution ミ stressed that this was their last warning and that only God could stop them on their path of fighting the occupation.

The Resistance groups also warned against a repetition of the massacre of children that they said the occupation forces committed in Baghdad and then tried to ascribe to the Resistance.

In closing, the group of Iraqi Resistance organization s said, “We zealously protect your lives because you are Iraqis and Muslims, and it is this which has prompted us to issue this statement.”

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent for his part noted that the statement was met with great interest by both Sunni and Shi‘i Iraqis, all of whom are taking the warnings as totally seriousness.

Three US intelligence agents suspected killed in Resistance car bombing in al-Karradah ash-Sharqiyah in Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 2:10pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a column of armored vehicles of the type used by the American Central Intelligence Agency on the main street in the al-Karradah ash-Sharqiyah area of Baghdad.

Owners of shops on al-Karradah ash-Sharqiyah Street who witnessed the explosion told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that a car bomb that had been parked by the side of the road blew up as a column of four armored vehicles of the type used by the CIA passed by.

The witnesses said that the explosion completely destroyed one of the armored vehicles, killing three Americans and wounding another two.

Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades distribute notices threatening Palestinian residents of Baghdad with death, expulsion, or arrest if they fail to leave Iraq within one month.

Members of the Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades have been distributing leaflets giving Palestinians resident in Iraq one month to leave the country. If they fail to do so, the leaflets threaten, they will be killed, expelled, or arrested by the security forces of the US-installed regime in Baghdad.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Baghdad reported that a large number of Palestinians in Iraq have reported receiving such notices. There are more than 10,000 Palestinians resident in Iraq, a sizeable community that has been in the country for more than 40 years.

The Badr Brigades, the armed wing of the Shi‘i sectarian Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI), entered Iraq together with US invasion troops in the spring of 2003 and since then have become the backbone of the US-backed regime’s security forces. The Badr Brigades have reportedly been distributing the leaflets in the districts of Baghdad al-Jadidah, al-Hurriyah, and al-Baladiyat in the Iraqi capital where many of the Palestinians are concentrated. The leaflets justify their threats against the Palestinians by claiming that they are “Wahhabi” fundamentalists who support the Iraqi Resistance to the occupation ミ what the Badr Brigades describe as ミ “terrorism.”

Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the number of Palestinian residents in Iraq who have been killed by the Badr Brigades already is in the thousands, with a similar number in prison, according to sources in the US-installed Iraqi regime’s “Interior Ministry.” The source confirmed to the correspondent that the pro-occupation regime is behind the Badr Brigade effort, saying that the “government” wishes to expel the Palestinians from the country in order to settle people with Badr Brigade members and other persons with Iranian citizenship in the Palestinians’ homes, many of them located in upscale districts of Baghdad.

The at-Tarimiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses as saying that a bomb that was planted by the side of the road had blown up as a joint patrol was passing by.

The major claimed that the Iraqi puppet army forces had captured one of the Resistance attackers carrying a remote-control detonator and standing 50 meters from the scene of the explosion pretending to be buying cigarettes.

The correspondent for his part said that he went to the scene of the attack to find that the street had been closed because of the deep crater left by the blast. Shop keepers near the scene of the explosion who witnessed the attack said they had no knowledge of any one being arrested in the area, however.

Ninwa Province.
Mosul.

Seven US troops reported killed in double Resistance attack on joint patrol in Mosul Wednesday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on the road to Kirkuk near the al-Wahdah neighborhood in southeast Mosul at 3pm local time Wednesday afternoon.

Local residents told Mafkarat al-Islam that the ambush began with the explosion of a roadside bomb beside the passing joint patrol. The blast destroyed one US Humvee and forced the column to come to a halt to recover the bodies of the dead and rescue the wounded.

But after the column halted, Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, including PKS machine guns, RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades, and 82mm mortars, attacked the troops from two directions.

The Resistance attackers destroyed one American armored vehicle, a US Humvee, and a pickup belonging to the Iraqi puppet army. Seven US troops were killed and another four American soldiers wounded. Tall ‘Afar.

Iraqi puppet regime’s “National Security Adviser” resorts to name calling, threats after Resistance blunts US offensive on Tall ‘Afar.

Following a failed US attempt to break into the city of Tall ‘Afar, Muwaffaq ar-Rabi‘i, the “National Security Adviser” in the US-installed “Iraqi government” in Baghdad declared Wednesday morning that his regime would treat what the Resistance ミ whom he referred to as “Wahhabis” ミ in Tall ‘Afar with severity and force, saying that they would be “uprooted totally” from the city, describing them as “terrorists.”

Ar-Rabi‘i followed up a meeting with US-installed Iraqi “President,” the Kurdish separatist Jalal at-Talibani, with a statement to the press in which he pinned various labels on the Resistance in an effort to discredit them. Ar-Rabi‘i announced that the US-installed Iraqi regime would “have no mercy for ‘Zarqawi-ists and Saddam-ists.’

Ar-Rabi‘i’s claim that the regime would “strike with a hand of steel” at the Resistance fighters entrenched in Tall ‘Afar sounded somewhat unconvincing after an offensive mounted by the US military against Tall ‘Afar had just been repulsed by the Resistance there.
