中国がパキスタンのGwandarで、石油パイプライン建設のための大規模なポートを建設していることと何か関係があるでしょうか？

the chinese are building a big port for pakistan in gwadar. it is intended to serve as the terminus of a pipeline from central asia.... yes, virginia, the very same pipeline that UNOCAL was scheming on before the bunnypants gang decided to go for the full monty.
remember that khalilzad (former ambassador to afghnistan and current ambassador to iraq) and karzai (the caped crusader who's president of afghanistan) both worked for UNOCAL, and remember khalilzad is a member of PNAC.
i spose if i was a chinese psychohistorian and was bent on carrying through with this tomfool chinese industrialization scheme, i'd just wait and see if america implodes from too much israeli american adventurism. if the israeli americans keep on failing, i'd just sit tight until they crumble, then pick up the pieces.
if against all odds it looks like they'll pull it off, i would send SAMS to afghanistan, drive the americans from afghanistan, and build a shorter pipeline from turkmenistan through afghanistan straight to gwadar.
...but the taliban might have chinese and russian missiles already.
