See Sudden White and Is This an Aerosol "Bomb?"

Have you noticed the sky turning from blue to white in minutes? The white may seem to move in from nowhere -- Without wind, without a front or weather system. And it can happen in air that is too dry to produce real clouds.

These photos show an onslaught of aerosol clouds increasing to a pure dense white within 20 minutes. All were taken from our back yard-- Notice the same phone pole in photos on right.
