Al-Fallujah.

US troops raid local home, beat, kill resident for no apparent reason.

In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces had shot and killed a man simply because they suspected he might be connected to the Iraqi Resistance during a raid on his house in the as-Sajar area of northern al-Fallujah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Sajar as aying that a US patrol raided the house of a local resident and began beating him up in front of his wife, children, and neighbors. The Americans then shot and killed him at the door of his house. The witnesses said that the Americans had not found any weapons or other suspicious items in his house in the course of their search.

Abu Ghurayb.

Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing south of Abu Ghurayb.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on themain road between az-Zaydan and arRidwaniyah southwest of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the az-Zaydan area, which is south of Abu Ghurayb, as saying that a bomb had exploded on the road to ar-Ridwaniyah just as a column of several American armored vehicles and Humvees was driving past. The explosion set fire to one of the vehicles, killing two American troops and wounding a third.

Baghdad.

Resistance bombards US checkpoint in western Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 1pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had unleashed a mortar barrage on a US check point set up on the main road in the area of the branch of the Tigris River in western Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses in the area as saying that the barrage sent smoke billowing up from the American checkpoint. US forces encircled the area firing indiscriminately at anyone who approached, making it impossible for the correspondent to ascertain the nature or extent of US casualties.

Iraqi Resistance fighters attack supply convoy in western Baghdad’s al-Khadra’ neighborhood.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a convoy of trucks hauling provisions to US forces on the highway near the al-Khadra’ neighborhood of western Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Khadra’ neighborhood as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons had attacked the convoy, destroying one truck and killing its driver, who had been working for the American occupation forces.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet “National Guards” in Baghadad’s al-Bayya‘ area.

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a column of puppet “Iraqi National Guards” on the main road in the southern Baghdad area of al-Bayya‘.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up by the column, disabling one troop transport vehicle. Two puppet “National Guards” were killed in the attack and three more wounded.

Iraqi Resistance group The Islamic Army refutes media claims of negotiations with US.

The Iraqi Resistance group the Islamic Army on Monday issued a statement refuting claims being made by the US government regarding negotiations that have supposedly taken place.

In a statement, a copy of which was obtained by Mafkarat al-Islam, the Islamic Army said that it wanted to issue a declaration to coincide with the Day of ‘Arafah during the Islamic Pilgrimage to pledge to make a sacrifice of “the enemies of God who wrecked the country and God’s servants there and violated sanctuaries.”

The declaration said, “We wish to make clear to our nation that we are continuing and and are persisting in the jihad against the infidel aggressor occupiers regardless of the cost and that everything you ar hearing in the media about our siting down with our enemies is a lie. You know that every time they are surrounded and beleaguered they rush to invent falsehoods. They use their agents to spread these lies about negotiations with the mujahideen and other matters and we wish to state again that we deny and refute such inventions. We have not authorized any party to represent us as regards any opinion or position.”

Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the Pentagon had set up a secret unit for misleading propaganda and as was recently reported spread false stories in the media that were designed to prettify the face of the occupation. Along those lines, Mafkarat al-Islam noted, the US media had recently been reporting that the US was conducting negotiations with Iraqi Resistance groups. Observers regard such stories as an American attempt to sow suspicions and splits within the ranks of the Resistance.

Salah ad-Din Province.

Ad-Dulu‘iyah.

Resistance bombards US airfield at ad-Dulu‘iyah.

In a dispatch posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the ad-Dulu‘iyah airport, which US forces have taken over and turned into their local headquarters.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the violent barrage sent clouds of smoke rising from within the American-occupied compound.

Al-Ishaqi.

Resistance bomb disables US minesweeper, reportedly killing two US troops near al-Ishaqi north of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had detonated a bomb by a passing patrol of US Humvees and minesweepers on the main road in the al-Ishaqi, about 100km north of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Ishaqi who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side o the main road in the area blew up as the American patrol was driving by. The witnesses said that the blast disabled the US minesweeper and killed two American soldiers and wounded two more of them.

Diyala Province.

Resistance bomb blasts US tank east of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the main road between Baghdad and Diyala Province.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet “Rapid Deployment Force” as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway in Diyala blew up as an American column of tanks and Humvees was driving past. The explosion disabled one tank, the source said, wounding four US troops who were aboard it.

Babil Province.

Al-Latifiyah.

Resistance bombards US headquarters in al-Latifiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired eight 82mm mortar shells into the headquarters of US occupation forces in the al-Latifiyah area south of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the American-occupied headquarters took direct hits from the Resistance mortar shells, that sent plumes of smoke rising over the facility.

Al-Yusufiyah.

Resistance bomb wounds three US troops near al-Yusufiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 3:55pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the highway near the Kilometer 37 area near al-Yusufiyah, south of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Yusufiyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway going south blew up as an American column was driving past. The explosion disabled one Humvee, wounding three US troops who were aboard it.

Resistance bomb south of al-Yusufiyah reportedly kills US soldier.

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column near the ‘Uwayrij area on the highway leading to al-Mahmudiyah, south of al-Yusufiyah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ‘Uwayrij as saying that the bomb that had been planted next to the highway disabled an American Humvee, killing one US soldier and wounding a second.

Resistance bombards US-occupied al-Bakarah base near al-Hawijah.

In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had rocketed the American-occupied al-Bakarah base located in the area of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Hawijah who witnessed the attack as saying that medium-range rockets blasted into the American-occupied base, setting off explosions and sending smoke rising into the air.

Two US troops reported killed in Mosul bombing.

In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military patrol on the main road in the al-Masarif area of central Mosul in northern Iraq.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Masarif as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road in the neighborhood blew up as a patrol of several Humvees was driving past. The correspondent reported that the explosion disabled one Humvee, killing two US soldiers and wounding two more of them.
