□火曜日の午後，サマワ近郊の自衛隊基地をレジスタンスが砲撃

・2006年2月7日付けの『イラク・レジスタンス・レポート』から。
　火曜日の午後1時30分，レジスタンスが120ミリ迫撃砲2発を使って自衛隊の司令部を砲撃する。
　匿名を希望する傀儡軍兵士の話によると，2発の砲弾は1発が基地内の燃料貯蔵地の近くに着弾し，火災が発生，
　もう1発が基地内にある建物に着弾していき，建物に物質的な損害を与えている。
　情報筋はこの砲撃による自衛隊員の死傷について言及していない。

Resistance bombards Japanese base near as-Samawah early Tuesday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked the headquarters of Japanese occupation troops west of the southern city of as-Samawah at 1:30pm local time Tuesday afternoon.

The as-Samawah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army, who asked not to be identified, as saying that the Resistance had fired two heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the Japanese-occupied base. One of the shells landed near a fuel storage depot, setting it on fire. The other shell landed near a building on the base, inflicting material damage on it. The source made no mention of casualties among the Japanese occupation troops.
