In a dispatch posted at 5:45pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US foot patrol in the area of as-Saqlawiyah, northwest of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Saqlawiyah as saying that� the bomb killed one US soldier and wounded two more of them.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in ar-Ramadis at-Tamim district.

In a dispatch posted at 3:05pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the main road at the entrance to the at-Tamim district of southern ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in at-Tamim as saying that the bomb, which was planted on as-Siramik Road blew up by a patrol of four American armored vehicles and two Humvees.� The blast disabled one armored vehicle, wounding its four-man crew.

Resistance bomb in eastern ar-Ramadi leaves one US soldier reported dead.

In a dispatch posted at 9:40am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a foot patrol of US and Iraqi puppet army troops in the al-Madiq area in eastern ar-Ramadi.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eye witnesses in al-Madiq as saying that the bomb, which was planted on a farm road in the area, killed onw US solsier and two Iraqi puppet army troops.� Two US troops and two Iraqi puppet army troops were wounded in the blast.

Body of blind 73-year-old religious scholar among the five latest torture, murder victims of pro-American puppet security forces in Iraq.

In a dispatch posted at 7:25pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that five bodies of tortured and murdered Sunni Iraqis were found in Baghdad and Karbala.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Statistical Department of the puppet Ministry of Health as saying that the bodies belong to Sunni Iraqis.� They bore signs of torture and had been shot to death in the head.

�

Four of the bodies were found in the Baghdad district of ash-Shurtah al-Khamisah.� One body, that of 73-year old Shaykh Ibrahim al-Ubaydi al-Basir, was found on the outskirts of the southern city of Karbala.� Shaykh Ibrahim al-Ubaydi al-Basir, who was blind, was a religious scholar who knew the Quran by heart.� He was arrested by puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry troops at his house in eastern Baghdad several days earlier, charging hi� with providing funds to the Iraqi Resistance.

Resistance rockets blast US military headquarters in ar-Ridwaniyah.

In a dispatch posted at 7:05pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces three medium-range rockets at the US military headquarters set up in the Iraqi Presidential Palace in the southwest Baghdad district of ar-Ridwaniyah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in arRidwaniyah as saying that the shells scored direct hits on the headquarters, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.� US helicopters were observed hovering at low altitudes over the headquarters and nearby villages for two hours after the attack.

Resistance sharpshooter kills two puppet Shock Troops at checkpoint in western Baghdads al-Amiriyah district.

In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two members of the puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) as they manned a check point in western Baghdads al-Amiriyah district.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the two Shock Troops were on observation duty at a check point under the bridge on the road linking al-Amiriyah with the neighborhood of al-Jihad to the south when the Resistance sharpshooter shot both of them, one after the other.

After the attack, puppet Shock Troops surrounded the al-Jihad neighborhood and al-Amiriyah and launched searches for the sharpshooter, but found no trace of him.

�

Mysterious bomb explodes in shopping area on at-Tayran Square.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious bomb exploded in at-Tayran Square in Baghdad, an important commercial district in the middle of the Iraqi capital.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported storekeepers in at-Tayran Square as saying that� the bomb was planted under a civilian car parked by the side of the main road and that it killed four civilians and wounded 20 more.

�

In contrast to Iraqi Resistance attacks, which have clear and defined targets occupation troops or armed forces, officials, or collaborators with the US-installed puppet regime this attack appeared targeted exclusively on civilians.

�

Such mysterious bombings are widely viewed as a part of an Anglo-American effort to rescue their failing fortunes in Iraq by sparking a sectarian civil war in the country enabling them to fulfill their plans of partitioning the country along ethnic and religious lines.

�

Resistance ambushes puppet Shock Troops west of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces armed with light and medium weapons attacked a patrol of puppet Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) troops on the highway near al-Ghazaliyah in western Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Ghazaliyah district as saying that the ambush on the highway leading to Iraqs western provinces destroyed one puppet Shock Troop vehicle, killing three puppet Shock Troops and wounding three more of them.

Two Resistance bombs in western Baghdad rip through puppet army column Wednesday night, leaving six Iraqi puppet soldiers dead, seven wounded.

In a dispatch posted at 2:25pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed one of the deputy directors of the puppet police in the city of Tikrit, about 180km north of Baghdad.

The Tikrit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the motorcade of Lieutenant Colonel Abd Mahmud on the Old Road 15km north of Tikrit as it was on its way to carry out an inspection of one of the puppet police stations in Bayji.

The witnesses reported that the Resistance fighters attacked from the side of the road, killing the puppet police lieutenant colonel and wounding three of his companions.

In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked an Iraqi puppet police patrol on the main road in the south of Bayji, about 200km north of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Bayji as saying that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns attacked the patrol, damaging their patrol vehicles and killing one puppet policeman and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters in the al-Bakr Air Base near Yathrib, about 100km north of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the mortar rounds scored direct hits on the US headquarters, sending plumes of smoke into the sky.

Resistance rockets slam into joint US-Iraqi puppet Shock Troop headqarters in southern Samarra.

In a dispatch posted at 9:50am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the joint headquarters of the US occupation troops and puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) in southern Samarra, about 120km north of Baghdad.

The Samarra correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the joint US-Iraqi puppet headquarters set up in the al-Buhayrah Hotel, located near the southern entrance to the city, took direct hits from two medium-range rockets, sending plumes of smoke rising from the facility.

In a dispatch posted at 6:50pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the puppet Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) in southern al-Madain, about 25km southeast of Baghdad at 3pm local time Thursday afternoon.

US occupation seen behind mysterious bomb blast in Balad Ruz market.

In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a mysterious bomb exploded in the middle of the market in Balad Ruz, about 50km east of the Diyala provincial capital of Baqubah (which is 65km northeast of Baghdad).

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Balad Ruz as sayng that the bomb had been planed by the main road in the market.� Its explosion damaged shops and stores nearby and wounded six civilians, two of them severely.

�

Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the Iraqi Resistance and numerous Iraqi organizations have confirmed that the US occupation forces are behind car bombings that strike at civilian targets, their aim being to discredit the Resistance and sow sectarian strife in order to pursue their aim of partitioning Iraq along sectarian and ethnic lines.

Mercenary killed in Resistance bomb explosion north of al-Latifiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 6:15pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an armor-plated four-wheel-drive vehicle on the road running north to Baghdad.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Latifiyah as saying that a bomb planted by the side of the road to Baghdad blew up as a column of armor-plated four-wheel-drive vehicles of the type used by mercenary security contractors working for US troops was driving along the road to Baghdad, 30km to the north.� The explosion disabled one of the vehicles, killing one mercenary who was aboard it and wounding two more of them.

Resistance sharpshooter kills two US troops in eastern al-Mawsil.

In a dispatch posted at 5:55pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two US soldiers in the al-Bath district of eastern al-Mawsil.

�

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Bath neighborhood as saying that the two Americans were on watch as part of an American patrol in the area when an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter shot both of them, one after the other, killing them instantly.

�

After the attack, the men on the American patrol hurriedly picked up the bodies of their fallen comrades and withdrew from the area, fearful lest a third shot kill one of them.

�

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in western al-Mawsil.

�

In a dispatch posted at 10am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on al-Ghabat Road in western al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.

�

The al-Mawsil correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the local puppet police as saying that the bomb went off by a column of several American Bradley armored vehicles and Humvees, completely destroying one armored vehicle and killing three US troops and wounding two more of them.
