In a dispatch posted at 10:40pm Makkah time Thursday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three Grad rockets into the American base located to the east of al-Fallujah at 3pm local time Thursday afternoon.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that about 15 minutes after the bombardment, US forces returned fire, lobbing seven shells into a peaceful village in 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah, specifically in the Saddat al-Bu Huwi area.

In a dispatch posted at 4pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting erupted between Iraqi Resistance forces and US troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies in the middle of al-Fallujah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that the fighting broke out when Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets ambushed a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road in the middle of the city.

One American vehicle was disabled and an Iraqi puppet army vehicle was destroyed in the fighting. One American soldier and three Iraqi puppet troops were killed and two American and three Iraqi puppet soldiers were wounded. The correspondent reported that four civilians who happened to be nearby when the fighting broke out were also injured.

In a dispatch posted at 2:05pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in the middle of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage set off violent explosions in side the American-occupied facility.

? US troops evacuate building they had occupied in 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah Wednesday night.

In a dispatch posted at 10:40pm Makkah time Thursday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops withdrew from the al-'Amir Establishment in the 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah suburb, 7km southwest of al-Fallujah for no apparent reason on Wednesday night.

? At least seven US troops killed in fierce fighting in ar-Ramadi Thursday afternoon.

In a bulletin posted at 12:12pm Makkah time midday Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting broke out in the city about half an hour earlier and was still going on at the time of reporting.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that dozens of Resistance fighters were engaged in combat with US occupation troops around 17 Tammuz Street which links the north of ar-Ramadi to the south.

In a dispatch posted at 1:15pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had completely destroyed three Humvees in the course of he fighting which was still raging at that hour.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that three US Humvees were blasted apart, with pieces of them being thrown around the area. Seven US troops had been killed, the correspondent reported, adding that their motionless bodies were still strewn around the street. Resistance fire was so intense that the other Americans had so far been unable to retrieve the corpses.

More than one Iraqi Resistance organization was engaged in the afternoon battle in ar-Ramadi, the correspondent had learned.

Later, In a dispatch posted at 5:15pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two US soldiers in the 17 Tammuz Street area at midday Thursday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the two Americans were part of a patrol that was proceeding along 17 Tammuz Street when they both took direct hits from an Iraqi sharpshooter’s bullet. After the attack, US troops opened fire indiscriminately at nearby houses, inflicting heavy damage on them.

In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier US tanks had shelled the Mosque of 'Abd al-Malik and the Mosque of 'Abd as-Salam 'Arif in the middle of ar-Ramadi.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that after more than 10 US troops were killed or wounded in fighting in the city that he Americans turned the cannon on their tanks in the direction of the 'Abd al-Malik Mosque and fired three shells into the building, bringing down the minaret and inflicting heavy damage on the sanctuary.

The American tanks fired two artillery rounds into the 'Abd as-Salam 'Arif Mosque, located not far from the other place of worship setting fire to the building and causing extensive damage.

Local people rushed to the mosque to try to put out the fire. At the time of reporting, the correspondent reported that young people were busy trying to rescue copies of the Qur’an and religious books from the two houses of worship as men were working to extinguish the flames.

The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the road to al-Fallujah blew up by a passing American column, destroying a Humvee and killing two US soldiers and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 4:15pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol on the al-Kartan road east of the Baghdad district of ar-Ridwaniyah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ridwaniyah as saying that a bomb planted by the side of a farm road to al-Kartan village destroyed a US Humvee, killing two American soldiers and wounding three more of them.

? US air raids in ar-Ridwaniyah kill seven Iraqi civilians early Thursday morning.

At least seven Iraqi civilians were killed, among them women and children, when US aircraft rocketed two homes in the ar-Ridwaniyah area of southwestern Baghdad early Thursday.

The correspondent for Quds Press reported sources as saying that US warplanes raided the district at dawn Thursday, blasting two houses in the area known as the Ibrahim al-Khalil Village in ar-Ridwaniyah. The American raid left seven local residents dead. At the time of reporting, local people were still working to dig through the rubble to extract the bodies.

The witnesses added that later Thursday morning, US troops staged an airborne landing in the same area and arrested four local residents. Meanwhile US aircraft and ground forces mounted more attacks in the area without any press coverage, as the media were prevented from getting into the area.

In most cases when the official US reports claim that Resistance fighters have been killed in their raids, local residents in the areas attacked maintain that the American accounts are wrong and that the houses rocketed have nothing to do with the Resistance.

? Pro-American Shi'i sectarian death squads torture, murder two more Palestinians.

In a dispatch posted at 2:06pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bodies of two Palestinian men, tortured and murdered by pro-American Shi'i sectarian militias had been found in a Palestinian housing complex in southeastern Baghdad.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bodies belonged to Sabah Abu 'Umar and Muhammad Nasir, both Palestinians. The bodies showed signs of torture and had been killed by intense bursts of gunfire to their heads.

Palestinian residents of the area told Mafkarat al-Islam the two men had been abducted by the front gate of the housing complex several days ago. Unknown cars with no license plates drove by and dumped the bodies in the same place on Thursday morning.

The source in the Iraqi puppet police told Mafkarat al-Islam that pieces of paper were found in the clothing of the two murdered men. The papers carried a statement signed by a Shi'i sectarian organization calling itself the Brigades of Fatimah az-Zahra’ taking credit for the murders and claiming that the two men were supporters of Abu Mus'ab az-Zarqawi ミ the leader of al-Qa'idah in Iraq, whom the US propaganda machine incredibly claims is responsible for virtually the entire Iraqi Resistance movement.

? Bomb blast in central Baghdad kills four puppet policemen Thursday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a car bomb exploded by the side of the street opposite a restaurant frequented by puppet police and college art students in central Baghdad’s Bab al-Mu'azzam district at 9am local time Thursday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam arrived on the scene and reported an Iraqi puppet security source as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been parked by the side of the street blew up, killing seven people ミ four of them puppet policemen ミ and wounding four more ミ one of those a puppet policeman. The blast inflicted heavy damage on the street and neighboring buildings, the correspondent reported.

? US, puppet forces mount massive raids, searches in Baghdad looking for abducted UAE diplomat.

In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies launched a campaign of raids and searches in large parts of Baghdad at dawn on Thursday. The claimed purpose of the raids was to search for a consul from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who had been abducted.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported puppet "Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)" and Iraqi puppet army troops backed up by US occupation forces surrounded the areas of Hafiz al-Qadi, al-Bab ash-Sharqi, ash-Shaykh 'Umar, al-'Amiriyah, al-Khadra’, and al-Ghazaliyah, and the neighborhoods of al-Jihad and al-Mansur, as well as many other parts of the occupied Iraqi capital. Hundreds of houses were raided and searched.

A source in the Iraqi puppet police told Mafkarat al-Islam that another purpose of the searches was to look for two vehicles that had been seen during the abduction of the UAE diplomat.

Baghdad’s entrances and exits were blocked and all persons coming or going were subjected to search. Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the puppet "Shock Troops" and puppet army soldiers forced women to uncover their faces on the pretext that the kidnappers might have dressed the diplomat as a woman.

Witnesses report: kidnappers of UAE diplomat wore puppet police uniforms, drove security vehicles of Iraqi puppet regime.

The UAE satellite television company al-'Arabiyah, based in Dubai, reported that the diplomat Naji an-Nu'aymi, was kidnapped while on a visit to the office of the UAE cultural attach in the Baghdad district of al-Mansur on Tuesday. According to Mafkarat al-Islam, al-'Arabiyah TV reported that the men who abducted the envoy were wearing Iraqi puppet police uniforms.

In a dispatch posted at 7:40pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported the al-'Arabiyah TV network as quoting eyewitnesses who said that the abduction took place on Tuesday night when four vehicles surrounded and cut off the car in which an-Nu'aymi was riding. The witnesses said that two of those vehicles appeared to be Iraqi puppet police cars and the other two were Toyota Land Cruisers ミ locally known as "Monicas" ミ a type of vehicle commonly used by the puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)".

Later on Thursday the Qatar-based al-Jazeera Satellite TV network broadcast a silent videotape showing the abducted diplomat. Al-Jazeera reported that the kidnappers demanded that the UAE embassy in occupied Baghdad be closed and that the al-Fayha’ satellite TV station run by the puppet regime be shut down.

? Resistance bomb blasts puppet "Iraqi National Guard" patrol in Baghdad’s al-Bayya'.

In a dispatch posted at 10:05am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road western Baghdad’s al-Bayya' district.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Bayya' as saying that the bomb, which was planted next to 20 Street in the district, went off by a puppet "Iraqi National Guard" patrol, disabling one of the pickups in the patrol and killing three puppet "Guards" and wounding another three more of them.

? Resistance bombards US headquarters in at-Taji Wednesday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of US occupation forces in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji on Wednesday evening.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the four mortar shells blasted directly into the facility, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

? US troops detonate bomb in central Ba'qubah.

In a dispatch posted at 2pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops detonated a Resistance bomb targeted on their patrol at the intersection in the middle of Ba'qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US forces used a robot to detonate a bomb by the side of the road at about 8:45am local time Thursday morning. The correspondent reported that US occupation troops sealed off the area for a full hour after detonating the bomb, as they made sure there were no other explosive devices in the area.

? Pro-American Shi'i sectarian militias desecrate and destroy tombs of Companions of the Prophet Muhammad.

In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that pro-American Shi'i sectarian militiamen had destroyed the grave site of Shurahbil ibn Hasanah, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad in the area of Kan'an, about 40km east of Ba'qubah (which is about 65km northeast of Baghdad).

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Shi'i sectarian militiamen planted explosives around the tomb and blew it up, completely destroying it and unearthing the grave. The grave of Anas ibn Malik in al-Basrah had been blown up in a similar fashion, the correspondent wrote.

There were no casualties in either sectarian attack.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Mada’in as saying that the bomb destroyed a patrol vehicle, killing three puppet "Shock Troops and severely wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a tanker hauling fuel on the main road to Baghdad in the al-Latifiyah area, about 30km south of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Latifiyah as saying that the bomb exploded by a convoy of fuel tankers heading to US bases on the road to Baghdad. The blast completely destroyed one tanker, killing its driver who was working for the US occupation troops.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Yarmuk as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the puppet police patrol, damaging one patrol vehicle and killing a puppet policeman. Two more puppet policemen were wounded in the attack, one of them severely. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area.

In a dispatch posted at 8:30pm Makkah time Thursday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that 10 masked Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with various types of weapon ambushed the al-Mawsil puppet police chief and his bodyguards and aids on Wednesday night as they were coming out of the local television station having just done a live broadcast in the al-Khadra’ neighborhood of the city.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the Resistance fighters opened fire intensely at the armored car carrying Staff Major General Wathiq Muhammad 'Abd al-Qadir, the local puppet police chief. men accompanying the puppet police chief to hauled 'Abd al-Qadir out of the vehicle and rushed to take refuge in a nearby house. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that they had found the body of Samir as-Sayyid Rizq, a 45-year-old Egyptian who had been living in Iraq for 20 years and worked at a bakery in Karbala’. Also discovered was the body of an 18-year-old Sunni Iraqi of the al-Jabbur tribe who had been tortured and murdered.

The source told Mafkarat al-Islam that the two bodies were in the Karbala’ City Hospital pending notification of the Egyptian authorities, in the case of Samir as-Sayyid Rizq; and until the family of the Iraqi could come and retrieve his body.

In a dispatch posted at 1:22pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven a car bomb into a US column in the al-Manadhirah district of the Abu Sakhir area on the main road in the south of an-Najaf.

The an-Najaf correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the blast disabled a Humvee, and completely destroyed a GMC civilian-style car that was being driven by foreigners accompanying the American column. Such vehicles are often used by American intelligence officers or by mercenary security contractors.

The blast killed six foreigners who were aboard the GMC and wounded a number of US troops. The local al-Manadhirah Hospital reported that US troops responded to the car bomb attack by opening fire indiscriminately after the blast, killing a local man who was driving his motorcycle nearby.

In a dispatch posted at 8:10pm Makkah time Thursday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar round at the an-Najaf home of 'Ammar al-Hakim, a local commander of the pro-American Shi'i sectarian Badr Brigades, the armed wing of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) which is run by 'Ammar al-Hakim’s father 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Hakim.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that 'Ammar al-Hakim was not at home at the time of the attack which took place on Thursday morning. The witnesses said that the explosion of he shell inflicted heavy material damage on the house, setting fire to an upper story. The local fire department was called to fight the blaze and ambulances also showed up but left without picking up any casualties, since the house was empty at the time of the attack.

In a bulletin posted at 11:05am Makkah time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before a bomb had exploded near the chief of the puppet police in the southern city of al-Basrah as he left his home in the ad-Dubbat housing area in the north of the city.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the car in which Major General Hasan as-Sawwadi was riding was severely damaged, but as-Sawwadi, the puppet police chief, was unharmed.

Meanwile, unknown armed men attempted to shoot a Colonel Majid, a high-ranking officer in the puppet intelligence services as he was passing through al-Andalus Square in northern al-Basrah.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that unknown armed men in cars opened fire on the puppet intelligence officer but missed.

The attacks followed a sharp escalation of tensions in al-Basrah between the puppet governor of al-Basrah and the puppet police chief. The puppet governor, Muhammad al-Wa’ili, had announced his determination to fire the puppet police chief because of the latter’s alleged involvement with pro-American Shi'i sectarian death squads. The puppet police chief and other supporters of Shi'i cleric Ayatallah 'Ali as-Sistani, were reported to be gathering incriminating evidence of the puppet governor’s involvement in corruption and malfeasance.
