Al-Anbar Province.
Ar-Ramadi.

Iraqi Resistance assassinates de facto puppet governor of al-Anbar Province Friday afternoon.

In a bulletin posted at 6pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance fighters had shot and killed the First Secretary of the puppet “Governor of al-Anbar Province” Ma’mun Sami Rashid.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed the car carrying ‘Umar Sirri, the First Secretary of the puppet governor, spraying it with a hail of bullets and killing him instantly.

The First Secretary was in fact serving as puppet governor of al-Anbar be default after the puppet governor himself disappeared several days ago (he reportedly fled the country in disguise) and after the resignation of the deputy puppet governor in April after he received threats from the Iraqi Resistance.

Six American Marines reported killed when Resistance car bomber blasts US column east of ar-Ramadi midday Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:28pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven an explosives-laden car into a US military column in northern ar-Ramadi.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance fighter blasted into the American column as it was driving down the highway linking al-Fallujah with ar-Ramadi. The blast completely burned and destroyed two US military vehicles, killing at least six American Marines. US forces then called in Medevac helicopters, which were seen landing near the scene as American troops closed off the entire district. At the time of reporting the road was still closed to traffic by US forces.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance destroys four US digital spy cameras put up in al-Fallujah as part of America’s latest futile attempts to defeat the Resistance with high-tech gadgetry.

In a dispatch posted at 4:35pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters on Friday morning destroyed four of the 30 spy cameras that US forces put up around the city of al-Fallujah in a vain attempt to prevent bombs and ambushes of US troops.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance fighters destroyed four of the 30 modern high-definition digital spy cameras that operate 24 hours a day throughout the city and have a rage of 5km. The Americans use them to spy on the local population in order with the aim of preventing the planting of bombs or the mounting of Resistance ambushes of US military columns.

Two of the spy cameras destroyed on Friday had been put up in the area known as “Between the two Bridges” along the banks of the Euphrates River in western al-Fallujah. The other two had been mounted in eastern al-Fallujah near the old al-Jaysh ash-Sha‘bi Street.

The correspondent reported that US forces are becoming frustrated by the fact that although they keep introducing new technological devices and gadgets to try to prevent Resistance activity, the Iraqi Resistance always finds ways around them.

The Americans introduced robots that could detonate bombs from a distance and the Resistance found ways to thwart them. The US introduced mine sweeper vehicles intended to detect roadside bombs, but the Resistance was able to blow them up. The Americans devised magnetic devices for their vehicles that deflect Resistance rockets away from them, but the Resistance found ways to overcome those as well.

And now today, the correspondent said, four of the Americans’ expensive digital spy cameras wound up as toys in the hands of the local children.

In a dispatch posted at 9:20am Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot down an unmanned US spy plane in the middle of Hit, about 140km northwest of Baghdad on Thursday night.

The witnesses reported that sirens wailed in the area and large numbers of Iraqis who had been working inside the “Green Zone” came rushing out of the area, helped along by the zone’s security men.

Fierce fighting breaks out when US troops storm west Baghdad neighborhood early Friday afternoon.

In a bulletin posted at 3:35pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting had been under way for about half an hour between Iraqi Resistance men and US occupation troops and puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” in western Baghdad.

Captain al-Jabburi said that the bodies were found on the special al-Qanat road, which is known to be restricted for use only by patrols of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” and US occupation forces. The bodies showed signs of severe torture. The penises of five of the men had been cut off with a sharp instrument. Iron skewers were driven up their anuses. All the victims were shot in the head.

The Captain said that all the bodies had been identified. Four of them belonged to a father and three of his sons ミ a prominent Sunni merchant in the lumber import business. The other victims were workers employed by the businessman. All had been abducted at the beginning of last week when they came out of their shop in Baghdad’s Bab al-Mu‘azzam district at evening time. The Captain said that the next of kin would be summoned to pick up the bodies.

The British troops flew the Union Jack from their vehicles and remained in Baghdad streets from about 5am until nearly 9am local time Friday morning.

Although British troops took part in the invasion of Iraq alongside the Americans in 2003, the British withdrew to cities in southern Iraq ミ al-Basrah, al-‘Amarah, and an-Nasiriyah shortly after the invasion.

Salah ad-Din.
Samarra’.

US launches savage sweep south of Samarra’, shooting 25 local residents, arresting hundreds after nightfall Friday.

In a bulletin posted at 9:25pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier US occupation forces launched a massive wave of raids, searches and arrests in the al-Jazirah area south of Samarra’, about 120km north of Baghdad, arresting, as of the time of reporting, some 450 local residents, and killing 20 more, among them four brothers. Women are among the prisoners.

The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that anyone on the edge of the city at that moment could hear the sound of women calling out to God for help and the cries of children as the violent American sweep through the area continues.

The correspondent personally witnessed an American soldier kick a local woman from behind, knocking her to the ground when she cried to God for help when the US troops put a bag over her husband’s head and dragged him off under arrest.

Minarets on mosques just outside the area under the US offensive began chanting “God is greatest!” and calling for Divine support for their brothers and sisters in the path of the Americans.

In a dispatch posted at 10:45pm Makkah time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier the Americans shot five youths dead when they tried to run off as the US occupation soldiers arrived at their home to arrest them. The puppet troops are storming into local people’s houses screaming at them “send out az-Zarqawi, you dirty Sunni bastards!”

The correspondent reported that the Americans had cut off all electricity supply to the entire city and were firing flares into the sky as US warplanes thunderously broke the sound barrier in the dark overhead, adding one more source of fear to the already panic-stricken area.

Diyala Province.
Ba‘qubah.

Resistance fighters shoot and kill four Iraqi collaborators working under contract for US occupation forces Friday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 4:25pm Makkah time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed four Iraqi collaborators working under contract with US occupation forces. The attack took place at 10am local time Friday morning, as the four contractors were leaving the US base located in western Ba‘qubah, about 65km northeast of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the puppet security forces as saying that the contractors worked on the American base, preparing and supplying things needed by the US troops.

Residents of Ba‘qubah told the correspondent that the Resistance had already warned the four contractor collaborators ミ all of whom happened to be Shi‘i ミ that they must stop working with the occupation forces. But instead, they not only continued working for the Americans, but asked them to detail guards to protect them. The Americans, however, did not agree to their request for protection.

The witness said he saw two Americans killed and one with his leg blown completely off. He said the other Americans left their dead and wounded companions and ran to the other side of the street afraid that their might be another bomb.

Afterwards, the US forces closed off the entire area until about 10:30am local time, keeping the roads shut down and causing a huge traffic jam.

In addition, Resistance fighters mounted two mortar and rocket assaults on two American occupation bases in the city. They fired five mortar rounds into Kirkuk Airport, a facility occupied and turned into a US base shortly after the 2003 invasion of Iraq. That barrage sent three plumes of smoke rising into the sky and produced a light explosion.

The Resistance also fired two rockets into the base jointly occupied by US and Iraqi puppet army forces on the road to Baghdad south of Kirkuk at 12 noon local time Friday. The barrage inflicted heavy damage on the facility according to a source in the puppet “Order Protection” forces.
