ヨーロッパの世論調査で、世界の安定にとってイランや北朝鮮よりアメリカの方が脅威だ、という結論が出ていることを知ったブッシュの狼狽ぶりを直に見てみたかったではないか。
どんなにブッシュ以下アメリカ当局者が自己正当化に努めても、イラクやグアンタナモ問題など、記者会見の場はアメリカを批判する質問ばかりが続々。

Video: Bush tells reporters European opinion of US 'absurd'
At a news conference in Vienna today, President Bush told European reporters that polls indicating European residents thought the US was a bigger threat to world stability than Iran or North Korea were "absurd".
Other questions asked of the President and other officials involved the war in Iraq, Guantanamo Bay, and extraordinary rendition of US prisoners.
Bush also claimed that other nations do not understand the fundamental shift in US foreign policy he claims became necessary after the terrorist attacks of 2001.
