US forces carry out mass arrests in al-Habbaniyah Tuesday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 8:55pm Makkah time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies were at the time of reporting carrying out a campaign of mass raids and arrests in the city of al-Habbaniyah, 69km west of Baghdad. The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces came in under cover from helicopter gun ships and began random raids and arrests of young residents in the al-Madani, “Si Si,” al-Jazirah, and al-Bu Mar‘i areas and in the villages of Kartan and al-Halabisah. The correspondent reported that dozens of youths had so far been arrested. Iraqi puppet troops accompanying the Americans were robbing the houses that they raided. At the time of reporting, the raids were still underway.

Ar-Ramadi.

US convoy hauls wreckage of US military vehicles out of ar-Ramadi amidst fears that Iraqis might photograph the images of American defeat.

In a dispatch posted at 5:45pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces had hauled a number of its wrecked vehicles out of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad, taking them towards the American military vehicle “graveyard” in the city of Hit. The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the at-Ta’mim neighborhood of western ar-Ramadi as saying that a US column of several Humvees and huge trucks on which were loaded five totally wrecked US vehicles was observed driving west towards Hit, where the American military vehicle graveyard is located in the old Iraqi Army’s al-Qadisiyah Military Base.

The witnesses said that from the condition of the wrecked vehicles, it was clear that they had been destroyed just within the last day or two. One witness said that the Americans were very wary of Iraqis on the streets and in passing cars ﾐ afraid lest one of them might photograph the convoy of destroyed American military hardware. Iraqi Resistance forces have carried out a number of attacks on US headquarters and patrols in ar-Ramadi in the last few days, killing and wounding numerous American troops and destroying a number of vehicles.

Resistance fighters assault US headquarters in ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 10:33am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked the Immigration building, a facility that US occupation forces have turned into one of their headquarters in downtown ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad. The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance men armed with light and medium weapons, pipe rockets and mortars attacked the American-occupied building in a battle that lasted more than 20 minutes and left fire blazing in part of the structure. Parts of the building were destroyed and two US military vehicles were damaged as well.

As-Saqlawiyah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:23pm Makkah time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters that the American occupation troops have set up in what used to be the as-Saqlawiyah Technical Institute in as-Saqlawiyah, about 15km northwest of al-Fallujah. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Saqlawiyah as saying that the institute building took direct hits from the mortar shells sending plumes of smoke rising from the American-occupied facility.

Baghdad.

Resistance captures puppet “Health Ministry” official who had Sunni patients kidnapped and killed from hospital.

In a dispatch posted at 5:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters captured a departmental director of the puppet “Ministry of Health” in the Bab al-Mu‘azzam district of central Baghdad on Tuesday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi Resistance as saying that they had abducted ‘Ali Husayn ‘Abd as-Sadah who works as the director of a department in the puppet “Ministry of Health” (which is under the control of the Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi).

The source said that ‘Abd as-Sadah had denounced many Sunni Iraqi who had come to the hospital for medical treatment, particularly those from al-Anbar and al-Mawsil, and then later Shi‘i sectarian gunmen would come into the hospital and kidnap and kill those Sunni patients. The source told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Iraqi Resistance would carry out God’s ruling on ‘Abd as-Sadah after investigating him.

Resistance bomb in ad-Durah leaves US soldier reported dead midday Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah at midday Tuesday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb, which went off by the patrol as it proceeded down Abu at-Tayyarah Street, disabled a Humvee and killed one US soldier and wounded three more of them.

The witnesses reported that US occupation troops with the help of their Iraqi puppet army allies then closed off the whole area for an hour and a half, during which time they evacuated their casualties and hauled the wreckage away to the Sukkaniya base on the highway.

Resistance mortars pound US “Green Zone” in occupied Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired five heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the high security zone set up around the Republican Palace in downtown Baghdad where the American occupation has its headquarters ﾐ the so-called “Green Zone.” The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Baghdad’s as-Salihiyah district which lies near the “Green Zone” as saying that the five shells all landed at entrances to the “Green Zone” sending plumes of smoke rising from the entrances.

US soldier reported killed by Resistance sharpshooter in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district.

In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah district. The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-A‘zamiyah as saying that a US patrol was halted near the as-Safinah Road when one of the American soldiers took a direct hit from an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly.

Resistance bomb wounds two pro-American Shi‘i sectarian gunmen.

In a dispatch posted at 12:18pm Makkah time midday Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an unmarked car carrying two members of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades on the bridge next to the ash-Sha‘b playing field in occupied Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Zuyunah area of eastern Baghdad as saying that a bomb planted on the bridge near the field blew up and destroyed the car, seriously wounding the two pro-American Shi‘i sectarian gunmen.

Resistance bomb targets puppet army Humvee in Baghdad’s al-Ghazaliyah district.

In a dispatch posted at 10:48am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol in western Baghdad’s al-Ghazaliyah district. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Ghazaliyah as saying that the bomb on the road to Abu Ghurayb disabled a Humvee belonging to the Iraqi puppet army forces, killing or wounding the four Iraqi puppet troops aboard it.

Resistance bomb targets puppet police southwest of Bayji.

In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the southwest of the city of Bayji, about 200km north of Baghdad Tuesday morning. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local residents as saying hat the bomb, which had been planted on the road to as-Siniyah, blew up by a puppet police patrol, disabling a patrol vehicle and wounding three puppet policemen.

Ad-Dulu‘iyah.

Resistance forces use poisoned Pepsi to wipe out puppet “Shock Troop” command post midday Monday.

In a dispatch posted at 7:15pm Makkah time Tuesday eening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had wiped out an outpost of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” using poisoned Pepsi near ad-Dulu‘iyah at about 1:30pm local time on Monday afternoon. The ad-Dulu‘iyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi Resistance assaying that four Resistance men driving a truck loaded with Pepsi distributed Pepsi Ugharit in plastic containers to the 11 puppet “Shock Troop” personnel manning the command post.

The source said that before delivering the soft drinks, however, the Resistance men had put poison in the containers and within five minutes all 11 were dead. The Resistance resorted to the ruse because the large numbers of civilians near the command post made it impossible for them to attack the post with rockets or mortars. The correspondent noted that at 2pm local time Monday, American and Iraqi puppet forces in ad-Dulu‘iyah had begun making unusual activity. That was just half an hour after the Resistance poisoning attack.

US and puppet forces closed off the road to the puppet “Shock Troop” command post until 6pm local time during which period ambulances came and went ﾐ a phenomenon not understood by any of the local people until the Resistance disclosed the story of their poisoning attack on Tuesday morning.

Resistance Katyusha rockets blast into US headquarters in ad-Dulu‘iyah.

In a dispatch posted at 1:30pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US headquarters in ad-Dulu‘iyah, 97km north of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ad-Dulu‘iyah as saying that the rockets targeted the US headquarters in the south of the city and sent plumes of smoke rising from the facility. Afterwards, American helicopters could be seen hovering at low altitude over the headquarters.

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Resistance bombards puppet government building in Ba‘qubah late Tuesday afternoon.

In a bulletin posted at 6:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces fired four mortar rounds into the Diyala Provincial government building. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that they saw smoke and fire rising from the building after the barrage. A source in the Ba‘qubah puppet police told the correspondent that the Resistance attack caused casualties and material damage but refused to provide any more details because of the arrival of security forces.

Resistance bomb blasts US armored vehicle in al-Mawsil.

In a dispatch posted at 10:44am Makkah time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road near the as-Salam Hospital in southeastern al-Mawsil. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the al-Wahdah neighborhood as saying that the bomb destroyed one American armored vehicle, killing or wounding the four US soldiers aboard it.

Maysan Province.

Al-‘Amarah.

Two British troops wounded in armed clashes in al-‘Amarah.

In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two British occupation soldiers were wounded in clashes with fighters that broke out in the city in southeastern Iraq, located about 60km from the Iranian border. The al-‘Amarah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-‘Aamrah as saying that the fighting erupted when British forces with dozens of tanks and armor plated vehicles started to encircle and seal off the al-Husayn and al-Wahdah neighborhoods in the south of the city on Tuesday morning in preparation for carrying out house-to-house raids, searches, and arrests.

Men armed with light and medium weapons attacked the British occupation troops, damaging one of the British tanks and disabling an armored vehicle. Two British soliders were wounded in the engagement. The British arrested nine persons on charges of firing Katyusha rockets at the British Abu Naji base located near the city.

Oil company employees halt oil shipments, demanding higher pay, profit sharing from US-dominated puppet state oil company.

In a dispatch posted at 5:55pm Makkah time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the chief of he general union of oil workers in the southern region, Husayn Jum‘ah al-Asadi, that the oil pipeline company and its workers were going on strike and halting the “export” of oil, whether to other provinces in Iraq or to foreign countries. He announced that they were also not “exporting” RTR materials used in oil extraction.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that al-Asadi said that the strike was for the attainment of certain demands of employees of the company, namely: 1. higher wages; 2. a profit share for employees; 3. the allotment of parcels of residential land for employees of the company.

Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the living standards of employees in the Iraqi puppet state sector were deteriorating, except for those in the military and security services. Economic analysts in the puppet “Finance Ministry” have said that the system for distributing wages to employees of the puppet state in Iraq was not settled and still had many faults that left some employees with low wages, but he claimed that the distribution problem would be fixed when a more efficient wage system had been put in place.
