オスロの南にあるLarvikの銀行の従業員が先週金曜日、銀行の表のドアーの鍵をかけ忘れて帰宅。その日の夜、10時に見回りをしていた警備員がそれを発見。中に入ったが警備のアラームもならなかったとの事で、警備員はすぐに警察に通報した。

調査したところ、「警備のアラームはセットされていたが、なぜならなかったのか分からない」と言っている。現在のところ、何も変ったことはないとの事。

銀行の支店長は、従業員の怠慢さに対して怒っていると共に、「ただのシンプルなミステイクだと思うし、そう信じている。ただただ御迷惑をおかけしたことをあやまるばかりです」といっているとのことだ。

Bank staff forgot to lock doors

Employees at a bank in Larvik, south of Oslo, went home for the weekend without locking the bank's doors or, apparently, setting its alarm.
A security guard discovered that the bank's main entrance door was unlocked when he did his rounds at 10pm Friday night.

He suddenly found himself able to walk right into the branch of SpareBank1 at Fritzøe in Larvik, without even setting off the alarm, according to newspaper ØstlandsPosten. The guard quickly called police.

Until that point, anyone could have strolled into the bank branch. SpareBank1 director Trygve Andersen blamed the unlocked door on a failure in the staff's internal routines.

"I hope and believe that this was simply a mistake," he told ØstlandsPosten. "We can only apologize."

The boss of the branch tried to look on the bright side, noting that the security guard discovered the mistake and the police came quickly. She claimed the alarm had been set, but couldn't explain why it didn't ring when the security guard walked in.
