Ar-Ramadi.

Ar-Ramadi puppet police blamed for murder, mutilation of local man.

In a dispatch posted at 12:23pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that residents of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad accused the city puppet police ミ an organization formed by the so-called al-Anbar Rescue Council in cooperation with the American occupation forces ミ of killing a local resident and mutilating his body in the al-Jam‘iyah neighborhood of central ar-Ramadi.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the puppet police raided the neighborhood on Saturday night along with a detachment of American occupation troops. They arrested seven local people in their homes on the pretext that they were members of the al-Qa‘idah Resistance organization. The body of one of the abducted men was later found dead in the middle of the street badly mutilated.

The ar-Ramadi puppet police consists of 400 men who receive backing from the US occupation troops and are billeted in the Ameicans’ bases. The boss of the ar-Ramadi puppet police is a man who goes by the name Sattar Abu Rishah who has been declared a traitor by the local tribes who have said that as far as they are concerned his blood may be freely shed and they will not retaliate.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb blows American vehicle apart in al-Fallujah Sunday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by US troops in southern al-Fallujah on Sunday morning.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road at the Nazal neighborhood junction in the ash-Shuhadah’ neighborhood blew up by a US patrol, completely destroying a US Humvee and killing or wounding all the American soldiers aboard.

Witnesses in the Nazal neighborhood said that the bomb went off right under a US vehicle blowing it completely apart. Afterwards US troops immediately closed the road so that they could haul away their wrecked vehicles.

Baghdad.

Sixty Palestinian families thrown out of Baghdad al-Jadidah by sectarian gunmen seek refuge in Baghdad’s overcrowded Palestinian al-Baladiyat neighborhood.

The Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq reported on its website Sunday that informed Palestinian sources had reported that more than 60 Palestinian refugee families had been thrown out of residential areas in the Baghdad al-Jadidah district and had been forced to take refuge in the al-Baladiyat area of the Iraqi capital, now the largest concentration of Palestinian Refugees in Baghdad.

Some 34,000 Palestinian Refugees are reported to be living in Iraq, many of them since they were driven out of Palestine by invading Jewish Zionist forces with the backing of western imperialist powers in 1948. Sources reported that al-Baladiyat, which has been turned into the largest Palestinian residential area in Baghdad is already overcrowded.

The newcomers being driven out of their homes elsewhere in the US controlled city have begun living in the entrance hallways to buildings since there are no more vacant apartments for them. Many of the women, at least, have found hospitality with other Palestinian families in various apartments.

Sources say that the Palestinians were being driven from their homes in Baghdad al-Jadidah by Shi‘i sectarian militias who then turn the apartments over to Shi‘ah coming from other parts of Iraq wracked with sectarian persecutions.

Many of the newly displaced Palestinians are expected to travel out to the at-Tanaf frontier outpost in the hopes of crossing over into Syria. Abut 600 Palestinians are already gathered at the outpost, however, where there are no humanitarian facilities whatsoever. The Palestinians have sought help from UN refugee agencies and from the American embassy, as the real authority in occupied Iraq but so far in vain.

After the attack, the puppet “National Guard” closed the checkpoint for several hours.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Americans and Iraqi puppet troops conducted their raids under air cover from helicopter gun ships.

Local residents said that the Americans used percussion grenades to blow open the doors of houses and then they burst inside terrorizing the women and children with their ferocious police dogs and the muzzles of their guns. The US troops smashed furniture and other contents of the homes they raided and arrested all the men. In all more than 90 men including religious leaders, elderly notables and teenagers were rounded up and abducted by the American troops and their Iraqi puppet army allies. The witnesses said that the US vehicle caught fire and they were able to observe as other Americans pulled one dead body from the burning vehicle and lay it on the street pavement. Three other Americans were pulled from the vehicle wounded to varying extents. At the time of reporting US troops were still deployed in the area where the blast took place and still had the street blocked off.

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent denies reports of sectarian massacre in Ba‘qubah.

In a dispatch posted at 5:54pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the story reported by Reuters and a number of other news agencies, according to which Resistance fighters supposedly attacked four residential neighborhoods and drove people out into the streets and killed them.

The Ba‘qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that on Sunday as usually Resistance fighters deployed in the streets of Ba‘qubah to wait for US or Iraqi puppet army columns to ambush. But the Reuters correspondent by the name of ‘Ali al-Hajjiyah whom the Resistance had expelled from the city for what it regarded as his continuous lies wrote up a story about the supposed activities of the Resistance in Ba‘qubah while seated in his new base in Baghdad. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that claims that Resistance fighters had killed Shi‘i residents of Ba‘qubah was a fabrication.

Babil Province.

In a dispatch posted at 12:34pm Makkah time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a group of four-wheel drive cars belonging to the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigade militia in the city of al-Latifiyah at midday on Saturday.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the two bombs went off in the middle of the city as a column of Badr Brigade vehicles was driving past. The blasts completely destroyed two of the four-wheel-drive cars and killed at least four pro-American Badr Brigade gunmen and wounded four more of them.

Truck bomb reportedly kills more than 20 Iraqi workers in al-Hillah as efforts continue to promote sectarian violence to facilitate US-Zionist plan to partition Iraq.

The Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq, the highest Sunni religious authority in occupied Iraq, reported that an explosives-packed vehicle exploded in the Bab al-Husayn area of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad at 7am local time Sunday morning. The blast occurred near a crowd of construction workers who had gathered as they usually do at that location in hopes of finding employment.

In a dispatch posted at 4:08am GMT, Quds Press reported that more than 60 Iraqis had been killed or wounded in a sectarian attack targeting Shi‘i workmen in the city of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad.

Quds Press reported the commissioner of the Iraqi puppet police in al-Hillah, ‘Abbas al-Ma‘muri as saying that an individual in a Korean-made truck offered work to day laborers gathered in the Bab al-Husayn area of al-Hillah and urged them to pile onto his truck so that he could take them to a work site. After a large number had clambered aboard and still more were gathered around the vehicle, the driver blew himself and his truck up, killing or wounding dozens, according to the puppet police commissioner.

A medical source in al-Hillah General Hospital said that about 20 bodies of dead victims of the bombing had been admitted to his facility and more than 40 more people had been brought in with injuries. In contrast to Resistance attacks that target US and Iraqi puppet regime installations and personnel, attacks that focus on civilians are widely viewed as part of an effort to stir up sectarian strife in Iraq so as to facilitate the partition of the country along sectarian and ethnic lines.

On 8 October 2006, the London Sunday Times newspaper reported that an American commission headed by former Secretary of State James Baker was promoting the idea of a “federal solution” which would effectively split the country into three mini-states. The Baker Commission is widely viewed as a body seeking a way out for the American Administration from its morass in Iraq. Efforts to split Iraq along religious and ethnic lines as reportedly advocated by the Baker Commission, and which often are masked under language about forming an Iraqi “federation” are consistent with plans hatched by US and Zionist politicians.

Such efforts have been reflected in recent years by Leslie Gelb (President Emeritus of the US Council on Foreign Relations) in “The Three-State Solution” published in The New York Times on 25 November 2003 and in the article by Gelb and US Democratic Senator Joseph Biden called “Unity through Autonomy in Iraq,” in The New York Times on 1 May 2006. Banking on splitting the Shi‘ah in Iraq from the rest of the country was a cornerstone of the neo-Conservative strategy laid out in “A Clean Break,” a paper drawn up by American Zionist government officials Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, David Wurmser, and Paul Wolfowitz in 1996 for the then Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Then in 2000 the neo-Conservative Project for a New American Century wrote Rebuilding America’s Defenses on the basis of the “Clean Break.” But before the recent period, the idea of “the dissolution of Iraq into a Shi‘ite state, a Sunni state and the separation of the Kurdish part” was voiced by veteran Zionist military correspondent Ze’ev Schiff in Ha'aretz on 2 June 1982 and was a part of the divide-and-rule strategy laid out by Zionist writer Oded Yinon in his “Strategy for Israel in the 1980s,” published in Kivunim (Directions), A Journal for Judaism and Zionism, published by the World Zionist Organization in occupied Jerusalem in February 1982. (It was translated by the late anti-Zionist writer and activist Israel Shahak and is widely available.)

At-Ta’mim Province.

Al-Hawijah.

Resistance bombards puppet “Iraqi National Guard” headquarters in al-Hawijah Saturday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 11:59am Makkah time Sunday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance bombarded a headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” in the city of al-Hawijah, southwest of the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Saturday night. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the puppet “National Guard” headquarters in the east of al-Hawijah was hit by three S5K rockets that blasted directly into the headquarters and set off a series of explosions. Shortly afterwards clouds of smoke appeared over the facility.
