The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the puppet “Iraqi National Guard” had arrested a short while earlier a local woman whom they accused of involvement in the Iraqi Resistance. In keeping with the terminology they use, she was charged with “terrorism.” The city was thrown into a state of high tension by the news of the arrest of the woman and it was reported that the Americans had imposed a curfew in al-Fallujah out of fear of massive repercussions.

Mafkarat al-Islam reveals details of US effort to put together “Iraqi national salvation government” including Sunni former Iraqi Army officers to replace Nuri al-Maliki regime.

In a dispatch posted at 5:51pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that informed sources in the city of al-Fallujah report that for two weeks US military forces have been making contact with officers in the former Iraqi army from before the US invasion in an apparent attempt to establish some form of cooperation with them with the aim of toppling the government of Nuri al-Mailiki, itself imposed by the Americans several months ago.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the sources and eyewitnesses in al-Fallujah as saying that US forces summoned four former Iraqi officers with the ranks of army general, lieutenant general, and major general who served in the Army of the Republic of Iraq for more than 30 years. The four generals failed to return home from the meeting and their relatives were told that they had been arrested.

A family member of one of the generals told Mafkarat al-Islam that his father, a lieutenant general in the former Iraqi Army, who asked that his name not be used, contacted the family two weeks later and told them that the Americans had taken them to Jordan along with 20 other officers where they were awaiting a meeting with a high-level American official. The general’s son went on to say that his father had said that the Americans wanted to incorporate the former Iraqi Army commanders in a “national salvation government’ that would replace the regime of Nuri al-Maliki, crack down on the militias, and re-establish the puppet “ministries” of the Interior and Defense.

Other individuals related to one of the generals told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Americans staged an airborne landing on the house belonging to the general in as-Saqlawiyah and made it appear to be an arrest. He was “arrested” from his home in the middle of the night but several days later contacted his family and told them that he was in Jordan and that they were receiving information from American officials regarding a possible “national salvation government” that would replace the US-installed regime of Nuri al-Maliki.

Baghdad.

Names of six Iranian Revolutionary Guard agents killed in Baghdad “Madinat as-Sadr” car bombings on Thursday published.

In a dispatch posted at 1:42pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that on Saturday the Iranian embassy in Baghdad received the bodies of six Iranian members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard who were secretly working in Iraq with the Shi‘i sectarian militias and were killed in the car bombings of Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen in the Madinat Saddam area on Thursday night. The Baghdad area of Madinat Saddam was nicknamed “Madinat as-Sadr” after the US occupation of Iraq in 2003.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the six bodies of the Iranian agents were received by Mujtabi Sari Nida, an employee of the Iranian embassy, from al-Kindi Hospital where they had been taken initially after the Resistance attack. The Iranian regime claimed that the six Revolutionary Guards were present among the Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen just as “ordinary citizens” on “pilgrimage” to the Shi‘i al-Kazimiyah mosque.

The Iranian agents were killed in a part of Baghdad some 30km from the al-Kazimiyah mosque, the correspondent pointed out, noting that the area was, however, a stronghold for the Jaysh al-Mahdi and Badr Brigade Shi‘i sectarian militias which receive support from Iran and the United States. The following are the names of the six Iranian “Revolutionary Guards” killed in the Thursday car bomb attacks:
‘Ali Shamkhani, killed by bleeding in the brain;
Baqir Dhu al-Qadr Rida, killed by severe wounds to the chest and back;
Muhammad Husayni, burned to death;
Ramadan Fayruzandah, died of a crushed skull and burns;
Qasim Taskhiri Rida Agha (passport NO. 01459872 from Karmanshahr, Iran) had his leg blown off and suffered a wound to the neck;
‘Ali Farhad Salmani, died of a severe lateral cut on his chest and from having both legs blown off.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported an informed source as saying that 30 commanders of the Jaysh al-Mahdi militia were killed in the Thursday attacks, among them Husayn Fattumah, who carried the name of his mother because he was a marked man after abducting three Sunni girls from a Qur’an memorization school on Palestine Street.

The regional hegemonic regime in Iran is seeking to secure its hold in Iraq by using Shi‘i sectarian leaders and organizations in order to try to step into the shoes of the American occupation authorities whose grip on the country has been weakened by three years of increasingly severe Resistance attacks. To forestall Iran’s attempt to replace America as colonial power in Iraq, the Iraqi Resistance continues its offensive against pro-Iranian as well as US and pro-US groups and facilities.

Resistance, local residents inflict heavy casualties on attacking Shi‘i sectarians in ad-Durah late Saturday night.

In a dispatch posted at 10:45pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters inflicted heavy casualties on pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen when they launched assaults on the areas of at-Tu‘mah, al-Mahdiyah al-Ula, and al-Mikanik in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Saturday evening. The ad-Durah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Jaysh al-Mahdi militia launched its attacks with more than 20 vehicles belonging to the puppet US-run “Iraqi Interior Ministry” as well as some civilian cars.

Fighting was still underway at the time of reporting and the sectarian militiamen were still suffering casualties. The correspondent said that the sectarians were attacking from two directions, one from the highway which is under the control of the puppet “order protection police” ミ which like all the security forces under US control are made up of Shi‘i sectarians. The American-run “order protection police” gave the Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen the green light to advance on the residential neighborhoods of ad-Durah. The second direction from which the sectarians attacked was from the area around 60 Street which leads to the Hur Rajab district.

Local residents and Iraqi Resistance fighters intercepted the attacking pro-Iranian sectarians. They lay in wait for them atop roofs and in streets and opened fire on the gunmen setting fire to two of their vehicles in the at-Tu‘mah area. Seven of the sectarian gunmen were killed and one was captured. Fighting was still underway near the al-Mustafa Mosque in al-Mahdiyah. A local resident told Mafkarat al-Islam that so far more than 10 of the Shi‘i sectarian gunmen had been killed and a number of their vehicles set ablaze. The local mosques echo with the sounds of Allahu Akabar! (“God is greatest!”) and with prayers for the victory of the defenders.

Eyewitnesses reported that in al-Mikanik, the Iraqi Resistance had also inflicted heavy losses on the Jaysh al-Mahdi, forcing the sectarian gunmen to flee.

In a dispatch posted at 11:25pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Imam of a mosque in ad-Durah had said that the Shi‘i sectarian assault on ad-Durah had been totally repulsed and that a large number of casualties had been inflicted on the pro-Iranian gunmen. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the Imam as saying that the losses suffered by the sectarians were as follows: more than 25 of their gunmen killed and more than 20 more of them wounded; one of them captured and currently under interrogation by Resistance fighters.

The Imam, who asked not to be identified, said that the Resistance had set seven of the sectarians’ Monica (Toyota Landcruisers), and Opel vehicles ablaze. The defenders also captured a white pickup from the attackers with the Iraq-Babil license plate number 56782. The defenders also seized four PKS machine guns, five Kalashnikov assault weapons, and six light ammunition clips from the attacker. The source said that it appeared that the Shi‘i sectarians were planning to regroup and attack again but he said that the local residents and Resistance fighters were keeping watch and ready for them.

Puppet “Interior Ministry” uniforms distributed to Jaysh al-Mahdi gunmen readying for another night of rampages against Sunni residents of Baghdad.

In a bulletin posted at 7pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that more than 1,300 pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian gunmen dressed in uniforms of the US-controlled puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)” that had been distributed to them a short while earlier were preparing for another rampage on the predominantly Sunni neighborhood of al-‘Amiriyah in Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Shi‘i place of worship the Husayniyat az-Zahra’, was where the uniforms were distributed so that the sectarian gunmen could carry out their deadly attacks. The correspondent noted that the Sunni population of Baghdad had spread the word on Friday that the puppet regime “Interior Minister” personnel must all be treated on the assumption that they were members of the Shi‘i sectarian militias such as the Jaysh al-Mahdi and the Badr Brigades.

Four-year-old boy burned to death by rampaging pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarians in Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 6:20pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the completely charred body of a small boy no more than four years old was found in Baghdad on Saturday morning. The small boy was a victim of the pro-Iranian Shi‘i sectarian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia rampages on Friday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported al-Hajjah Qismah Muhammad, the grandmother of the boy as saying that his name was ‘Umar ‘Abdallah ad-Dulaymi. He lived in the Baghdad district of al-Hurriyah al-Ula.

“‘Umar was playing by the door of his house when the sectarian gangs attacked the area and then we lost him,” al-Hajjah Qismah said. “We looked for him all day yesterday and today among the charred piles of Sunni martyrs but couldn’t find him,” she said. “Then one of our neighbors found him this afternoon in the ad-Dabbash neighborhood near the Ahl at-Tanak area where they sell fuel and which is controlled by the Jaysh al-Mahdi.” The bereaved grandmother described how the body of her young grandson was completely burned. The pro-Iranian sectarian gunmen poured fuel on all over the little boy and set fire to him.

Little ‘Umar’s shrouded body was still in their home. They were unable to give him a prompt burial as demanded by Islam because of the curfew imposed by the Americans and their puppet Shi‘i sectarian regime.

Puppet regime assigns wing of luxury hotel to collaborator from al-Anbar province because of death threats.

In a dispatch posted at 6:20pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi puppet regime set aside a private wing of the al-Mansur Melia Hotel in the as-Salihiyah district of Baghdad near the Iranian embassy to host the chairman of the so-called al-Anbar Salvation Council, ‘Abd as-Sattar ar-Rishawi, a collaborationist organization. The Arab tribes of al-Anbar province announced that they regarded ar-Rishawi as a legitimate target since he had agreed to collaborate with the US occupation forces. With his life under constant threat, the puppet regime must take extraordinary security measures for him wherever he goes.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported informed sources in the Iraqi puppet “Parliament” as saying that the US-installed “Prime Minister” Nuri al-Maliki had ordered that the fifth floor of the hotel that overlooks the Tigris River to be set aside for ar-Rishawi and his entourage. Since the tribes of al-Anbar province declared ar-Rishawi an outlaw who deserves to be killed for collaboration, ar-Rishawi has been unable to re-enter his native province of al-Anbar or particularly its capital ar-Ramadi.

Ar-Rishawi recently filed a lawsuit against Shaykh Harith ad-Darri, the head of the Muslim Scholars Association of Iraq, the highest Sunni religious authority in the country, on the pretext that ad-Darri had insulted him. The lawsuit is seen as a face-saving device by the Nuri al-Maliki regime following its embarrassing order to arrest ad-Darri ミ an order that then had to be rescinded due to massive public outcry.
