財務省は１０日、昨年１年間に税関が摘発した密輸の状況を発表した。
覚せい剤や大麻など薬物の密輸では押収量が前年より２割多い１１０４キ ロと、２年ぶりに１トンを超えた。若者の間などで流行し、高校生が学校で 生徒に密売した事件が起きた合成麻薬ＭＤＭＡの押収量は、前年比で約２倍の３６万８０００錠と過去最高となり、５年前と比べて約２０倍に急増して いる。
密輸の手口は、船舶などで人が持ち込む「大量単独型」から、国際郵便などを使った「小口多発型」に変わり巧妙になっている。不正薬物全体の摘発（５５４件）のうち、国際郵便物の利用が２４８件と最多だった。
覚せい剤の押収量は３２７キロと前年と比べ２割減ったが、件数は４倍近 く増え７６件と過去最高だった。不法薬物全体では、これまで大量の密輸 があまりなかったカナダやマレーシアなどからのルートで摘発が相次ぐなど、密輸元も多様化している。

Police last year seized more than twice as much MDMA, a psychedelic
amphetamine known as Ecstasy, as the year before, strongly suggesting that use of the drug is on the rise among young people.
About 390,000 Ecstasy tablets were seized in 2003, or 22 times the amount confiscated in 1999.
In 2003, 256 suspects were arrested or questioned for suspected use of Ecstasy, also more than double the previous year.
Of the 256, 29 were under 20 years of age, compared with seven in the previous year.
MDMA, which sells for about 4,000 yen a tablet, is popular in the dance club scene.
Students at a high school in Tokyo were recently found to be dealing the illegal substance, police said.
The number of suspects arrested or questioned last year in connection with marijuana use increased by 16 percent year on year to 2,032-a record high. Of that number, 1,200, or 58.5 percent, were in their 20s.
Police also confiscated a record 267 kilograms of hashish, a 9 percent year-on-year increase. The figure for marijuana was 537 kilograms, more than double the previous year\'s amount.
Stimulant drug suspects numbered 14,600 in 2003, a 13 percent decrease from 2002. A crackdown on stimulant drug smuggling may account for the drug\'s relative scarcity, and its rising street price-reportedly about 80 percent higher than in the previous year.(IHT/Asahi: January 31,2004) (01/31)
このＭＤＭＡの拡散は日本だけではない。ＸＴＣ、ラブドラッグ等々のネーミングで時代の風に乗っているのがこのドラッグで、事態は深刻である。
ご存知の方も多いだろうが、ＭＤＭＡはイスラエルの独占的製品、言わば、ドラッグのダイアモンドなのである。デビアスが世界の市場を仕切るダイアモンドはベルギーを拠点とするが、ＭＤＭＡはオランダを拠点とする。
このＭＤＭＡの拡散は、このドラッグが「今」に合っているというだけではなく、売り手の積極的なマーケティングがあって初めて成立するということを忘れてはならない。
ＣＩＡがコカインやヘロインを捌き、そして今ＭＤＭＡをイスラエルが仕切っている。今の時代を象徴する暗い出来事なのだ。
そして育ちの良さそうな子供やオーソドックス・ジューがドラッグ・トラフィッキングで一役買っている。
「そんなことはあり得ない」
そんな固定概念を利用するのだ。日本の場合はオーソドックス・ジューはほとんど見られないがそれでも水際で摘発される人間はイスラエル人が多い。朝日は勿論こうしたことは報じないだろう。
