グリーン（緑の党＝公式説を支持しまくっている）の議員二人にメールで送っていたものです。

Some pictures need little introduction. They stop you in your tracks. These are exclusive pictures to Reuters of a Canadian polar bear eating a cub that it killed and cannibalized.
A global study released in 2008 suggests that climate change has turned some polar bears into cannibals. However, a local Inuit leader told journalists that a male polar bear eating a cub is a normal occurrence.

ホッキョクグマが小熊を食べるのは毎度のことだそうです」と書かれてあるのですよ。
おまけに、この記事についた読者のコメントの多くが 先にダイナモさんの投稿に
コメントなさった方のものと同様の事実を指摘しています。

What drives me crazy about these debates is the length that the Climategate people will go to in order to drive home a point. It’s so easy to dispel sometimes. Is this a male or female bear? Bet it’s a male. Go to wikipedia and look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_bear. Here’s what it says: “Adult male bears males occasionally kill and eat polar bear cubs,[68] for reasons that are unclear.” So much for being driven out of their homes. Their population has grown by 5 times in the last three decades. Find a new poster child people.

I hate to burst your eco whacko bubble, but there are a few assumptions that are not only glaring in the article, but are flat out wrong.
First that the polar bears (or for that matter any bears) are not cannibalistic when it comes to adult males and cubs. From what I’ve heard, female bears (Sows) have to protect their cubs from the males all of the time.
Secondly that the polar bear population is actually falling because of “global warming”. Since the population has actually risen substantially in the last 2 decades, destruction of habitat is hardly an issue.
Thirdly that the lack of ice reduces the amount of food available to the bears. Exactly how much grass and other caribou and musk ox food grows on barren ice sheets? NOTHING grows on barren ice sheets. If anything the melting ice and warmer temperatures causes more plant life to grow which allows for more prey animals to thrive. HENCE MORE FOOD, not less.
Can someone use some common sense and do some real research instead of relying on scientists with a political agenda for information?

This from National Geographic “Females aggressively protect their young, but receive no help from their solitary male mates. In fact, male polar bears may even kill young of their species.”
So what you have published in no way reflects global warming but rather the natural order of things.

Whoever is part of the “US-led global scientific study” can count himself as one of the biggest idiots to ever get any grant money, or to get any attention by a useless media.
These people should be ashamed for trying to sway opinion in such a manner. The polar bear has always been a vicious animal, and has always been known to eat young cubs. Sometimes mothers who reject their cubs will eat them, and they are always in need of protection against the male adults.
How shameless, and it takes all credibility away from these groups who claim to be so knowledgeable and intelligent.

Good grief! If U.S.-led global scientists will make a statement like this, can you believe anything they say?
Male bears will kill cubs in an effort to bring the female into estrus, and will eat the body to make best use of the nutrition.

一々訳していられませんが、オス（の動物）が、すでに子育て中のメスの気を引こうと
してその子を殺したり食べたりするのはよくある話だし（ホッキョクグマの場合、子育て
は2年位やっているので、メスを取るのも大変というわけ）、「共食い」などという、
如何にも「野蛮な行為を始めた」と思わせる表現はおかしい。人間が、毛皮目当てに乱獲
していた時代と比べてホッキョクグマの頭数はぐっと増えているし、「温暖化で食料が
なくなった」というが、まったくの氷原だけになったらカリブやその他の動物（クマの食糧）
の食糧である草などまったく生えなくなるだろう（から、クマの食糧もなくなる。それ
に比べたら、温暖化の方がよっぽどいいのでは、という意味）。政治的な意図を持った
“科学者”の発言には要注意だよ、とか 申し訳ないのですが、嘘がバレバレです。
温暖化人為説の嘘でも 9/11でもなんでもそうですが
どうして“発言力の強い専門家”やメディアの言うことをそんなに簡単に信じてしまう
のでしょうか？
気温の上昇に関しても、先に投稿したと思いますが 気温を記録する過程に操作が入って
いたり、昨夏こちら（オーストラリアはヴィクトリア州）で経験したような、10日前後
の異常に暑い日というのは（他の日は20〜25度程度でした。以前はもっと暑い日がたくさん
あったのに）ケムトレイル（たくさん見られる）を活用したHAARPの仕業ではなかったのか
と、今は思っています。

★しかし、何故かあそこは忍者なんとかというのが出て、開いた途端に見られなくなるのです。
スクリプト関連なんだろうが
とにかく私や周囲の友人たちの体感温度からすると、確実により涼しく、寒くなって
きているのですよ、ここ数年来。
また今年も、去年同様オーストラリア･オープンなどで全世界が注目するようなときに
異常な高温になるのではないかと予測しています。
＃私としては、やはりHAARPに注目すべきだろうと思います。
あの頃、確かに藪火事は実際にウチの近くまで来ていたし、大変だったのは事実ですが
オーストラリア･オープンの頃の猛暑ともども日本でも非常に大きく報道されたようで
多くの友人からお見舞いメールが来て、びっくりしました。
それほど大げさに「オーストラリアも温暖化で大変なのだ！」と世界中のメディアが
懸命に伝えていたのだと思いましたよ。
＃他の、大半の日々はかなり涼しかった事実は抜きで。
