●コーストで英兵７名殺害
コースト（特派員）：
信頼できる筋は、コースト空港へのミサイル攻撃で7人の英兵が死亡したと月曜日（2002年5月6日に）の夜に知らせてきた。
現地時間の午後2時頃、2基ずつのミサイルがコーストの旧空港と「サハラ庭園」という別名で知られる新しい空港（現在、英軍が駐留している）に向けて発射された。
これはここ数日のあいだで2度目の空港攻撃である。
●カンダハル空港をロケット攻撃、米兵11名死亡
カンダハル（特派員）：
カンダハル空港の米国基地に猛烈なロケット・ダムがあり、少なくとも11人のアメリカ兵士が死亡、多数の負傷者がでたと目撃者が報告してきた。
カンダハル空港近くの労働者は夜明けの祈りの直後に、(見たところ)BM-12マルチプル・ロケットランチャーから発射されたロケットが合衆国部隊を収容している建物を直撃したと報告した。
建物はすぐに燃え出し、そして空港に非常事態が出された。
その土地のタリバン情報将校がこの攻撃で11人の米兵が死亡したことを確認した。

Reliable sources have informed that seven British soldiers were killed in a missile attack on Khost Airport, on Monday night, 06 May 2002.
At about 2am local time, two missiles were fired on Khost's older airport and two missiles were fired at the newly built Khost Airport, also known as the Sahara Garden, which is currently housing Coalition troops.
This is the second attack against the Airport in as many days.
BM-12 Rocket Attacks on Kandahar Airport Kill 11 US Soldiers
KANDAHAR (Special Correspondent):
Eyewitnesses have reported a fierce rocket barrage on the US Base in Kandahar Airport, killing at least eleven American soldiers and injuring several others.
Workers near Kandahar Airport reported that shortly after the Dawn Prayer, a series of rockets, apparently fired from a BM-12 multiple rocket launcher, scored direct hits on buildings housing US troops at the airport.
The buildings immediately caught fire and a state of emergency was declared at the airport.
Taliban intelligence officers on the ground confirmed the deaths of eleven US soldiers in this attack.
