●パキスタン-アフガニスタン境界付近に連合軍配備
ミーランシャー（アッザーム）：
信頼できる筋からの情報によると、1000人程の連合軍がパキスタン-アフガニスタン国境付近（特に、ミーランシャー地方）に配備されたと思われる。
デイリー・イスラムは米英軍がダラ・ハイル地域（パキスタン北西部の部族地区ミーランシャー近郊）のあたりに集結したと報じた。
米英軍がダラ・ハイルの中心のマーケットをパトロールしているのが目撃されたという情報は目撃者の報告で確認された。
我々に近い情報筋は、アメリカ兵はタリバンおよびアラブムジャヒディン支持者の情報を収集する為に、この地域に多い麻薬常習者を多数雇い入れたと報告してきた。
しかし、この麻薬常用者たちの興味は明らかに「彼らの習慣の供給」に向けられているので、「タリバンまたはアル・カーイダと関係していた」としてこの地域の無実の人々の名前をあげている。
その結果、米軍は火曜日に、『信頼できる』麻薬常用者の情報に基づいて16才の若者を逮捕したと信じられている。
この事件は結果的にこの地方の部族リーダーたちの怒りを増大させることになった。
この地域における作戦の新しいフェーズに対して彼等がどのように反応するかは不透明だ（予想し難い）。
●「オサマ・ビン・ラディンのネットワークが再編成している」 − ドナルド・ラムズフェルド
ワシントン（アッザーム）：
アメリカ国防長官ドナルド・ラムズフェルドはワシントン・ポストとのインタビューで、「オサマ・ビン・ラディンのネットワークは未だに組織化されていて、世界各地で活動している」と、述べた。
ラムズフェルドはオサマ・ビン・ラディンがまだ生きていて活動中であることは確認できたが、ビン・ラディンがこれらのユニット全体を指揮下においているどうかに関しては確信を持てないでいる。
西洋の情報機関のレポートは、ビン・ラディンがネットワークを再編成し、そして作戦基地を移していることを示すようである。
しかし、このレポートの大部分は推測に基づいたものであり、他の情報筋はビン・ラディンが聖戦士の兄弟たちと共に前線に居ることを示唆する。そして、それはビン・ラディン直属の戦士と指導者にとって最も適当である。

One Thousand Coalition Troops Deployed Near Pak-Afghan Border
Meeranshah (Azzam):
According to information from a reliable source, it is believed that one thousand coalition troops have been deployed near the Pak- Afghan border, specifically around the region of Meeranshah.
The Daily Islam reports that U.S. and British troops have amassed near the region of Dara Khail, which lies in close proximity to Meeranshah of the North West Frontier Province in Pakistan.
Eyewitness accounts have confirmed that U.S. and British troops were seen patrolling a market in the centre of Dara Khail.
Sources close to us have reported that a number of drug addicts, of whom this region has many of, have been employed by U.S. personnel in order to gather intelligence of Taliban and Arab Mujahid sympathizers.
However, since these drug addicts are obviously only interested in feeding their habit, they have been giving names of innocent people in the region accusing them of being involved with the Taliban or Al-Qaida.
Consequently, it is believed that a 16- year-old youth was arrested by U.S. troops on Tuesday, apparently due to intelligence received by their 'reliable' drug addict source.
This has resulted in increased anger amongst local tribal leaders and it is unclear as to their expected reaction in what seems to be a new phase of operations in the region.
"Osama Bin Laden's Network is Reorganizing " - Donald Rumsfield
Washington (Azzam):
The U.S. Defence Minister, Donald Rumsfield, stated in an interview with the Washington Post that Usama Bin Laden's network is still organized and operational in different countries of the world.
However, he was unsure as to whether Usama Bin Ladin was still in overall command of these units but he could confirm that Bin Laden is still alive and engaged in activities.
Western intelligence reports seem to indicate that Bin Laden is reorganizing his network and shifting his base of operations.
However, much of this is based on speculation and other sources are indicating that Bin Laden is living in the front lines amongst his Mujahid brothers and that is most befitting for a warrior and leader of his calibre.
May Allah protect and preserve the leaders and helpers of Jihad and the Mujahideen in every part of the world.
