●洞穴＆地下道を破壊作戦開始

カブール(アッザーム)：
イギリス軍は別の大作戦−アフガニスタンの洞穴と地下経路を破壊すること−を開始した。
イギリス人は、以前タリバンおよびアル・カーイダがこれらの経路を使用していたと主張している。
複雑な地下経路（そこにはかなりの量の弾薬が貯蔵されていた）は、アル・カーイダの旧トレーニング・キャンプと思われる場所の近くで発見された。

●アフガニスタンの空軍基地から回収された化学兵器

カブール(アッザーム)：
アフガニスタン各地の空軍基地から、身体と脳に作用する化学兵器に使用された化学薬品が回収された。
BBCは、「米国スポークスマンはこれらの化学薬品の残留物は、嘗てのソビエト支配の間に基地に保管された武器のなごりであると推測されると述べた」と、報じた。
連立軍兵士は、問題の基地からより安全であると考えられる場所に再配置された。
アル・カーイダがこれらの化学兵器を作ったという疑惑が増大している。
特に、これらの化学兵器はここ数日の間高度なセキュリティ下にあった地域で発見された。

Major Operation Initiated To Destroy Caves and Underground Passages

Kabul(Azzam) :

British troops have commenced another major operation to destroy caves and underground paths in Afghanistan.
The British claim that these channels were previously used by Taliban and Al-Qaida mujahideen.
A complex of underground paths, which contained a very significant amount of ammunition, was discovered near a suspected former training camp of Al-Qaida.

Chemical Weapons Recovered From Afghan Air Bases

Kabul(Azzam) :
From various different airbases in Afghanistan, chemicals used in chemical weapons which target the body and brain have been were recovered.
The BBC reports that the US spokesman stated that these chemical remnants are suspected to be a legacy of weapons previously stored in those bases during the Soviet rule.
Coalition personnel were relocated from theses bases to locations deemed safer.
There is mounting suspicion that these chemical weapons originated from Al-Qaida.
Notably, these weapons were discovered in regions which have been under high security during the past few days.
