●ＭＣ−１３０が墜落、死傷者15名

ガルデズ（アッザーム）：
15名の米兵を載せたアメリカの航空機が秘密空軍基地から離陸後間もなくガルデズ付近に墜落した。
米軍情報筋は未だに事故原因を発表していないが、情報筋によると、この航空機は特殊作戦に関っていたということだ。
当局は少なくとも3人の兵士の死亡を確認したが、死者はもっと多いように思われる。負傷者は重態だといわれている。
事故原因を確認するために公的な調査が行われている。

●50人がグアンタナモ湾へ移送

ワシントン（アッザーム）：
合衆国当局は、アフガニスタンからもう50人の男がグアンタナモ湾のキャンプ・デルタへ移送されたと発表した。
タリバンおよびアル・カーイダ兵士であるとの嫌疑をかけられたその男たちは、数日前に移送された。
これで、如何なる裁判も人権もなしに拘束される人の数はトータルで434人になった。
当局はこの男たちがいつ逮捕されたかについては発表しなかった。
高度な安全保障の下、捕虜たちは到着するとすぐに徹底したメディカル・チェックを受けさせられてキャンプ・デルタに送られる。
2002年1月以来、アフガニスタンから送られた容疑者は新しいキャンプ（収容能力は1000人以上、特殊な錠のかかる600の独房がある）へ移されている。

US MC-130 Crashes in Gardez, 15 US Soldiers Killed or Wounded

Gardez (Azzam):
The American special operations aircraft was carrying fifteen troops when it crashed near Gardez just a few minutes after taking off from a secret airbase.
US military sources have not yet disclosed the reason for the crash but the aircraft was taking part in a special operation, according to sources.
At least 3 soldiers have been confirmed dead by officials but the true number is likely to be much higher and the injured are said to be in serious condition.
An official investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.

Another 50 Persons Moved To Guantanamo As Alleged Taliban And Al-Qaida Operatives

Washington (Azzam):
US authorities have said that fifty more men from Afghanistan have been transferred to Camp Delta in Guantanamo Bay.
The men, alleged to be Taliban and Al-Qaida soldiers, were moved a few days ago, bringing the total number held without any trial or human rights to 434.
The officials did not say when these men were arrested.
As soon as they arrive under high security, the prisoners are given a complete medical check-up and sent to Camp Delta.
Since January 2002, suspects from Afghanistan have been shifted to the new camp, which has 600 special lock-up cells and the capacity to hold more than 1000 prisoners.
