●ウルズガンで手榴弾攻撃
カブール（アッザーム）：
金曜日、未知の銃撃者がアメリカ特殊部隊のチェックポイントを攻撃した。
米国の野蛮な爆撃で250人の無実の市民が殺され、400人の負傷者が出た村の近くでこの攻撃が始まった。この攻撃には手榴弾の他に軽武器が使われた。
情報筋によると、この攻撃は、合衆国のスポークスマンが民間人の死者の調査に関する詳細を明かすことを全く拒否したそのすぐ後に起きた。
ウルズガン地方ダラワット地区の住民は、米特殊部隊のチェックポイントが急襲されたと話した。
攻撃の直後に米軍用機が現場上空に飛来したのが目撃された。
米軍スポークスマン ロジャー・キング大佐は、米部隊と一緒にいたアフガニスタン地元部隊も仕返しに、攻撃がきた方向に向かって銃撃したと話した。
●シャバズ空軍基地で米兵5人が重傷を負う
ジャコババード（アッザーム）：
金曜日の夜、ジャコババードのシャバズ空軍基地で米軍用機のタイヤが離陸時にパンクした。
パイロットを含む5名の搭乗員全員が重傷を負った。パイロットは重態だと言われている。
情報は、その時にパキスタンとアフガニスタンの基地へ米兵とVIPたちを運ぶのに2機の飛行機が使用されていたことを示す。
米兵を乗せた飛行機は離陸のために陸上を滑走していた。その時、タイヤの一つが破裂してパイロットは機体のコントロールを失い衝突した。
負傷者は全員、シャバズ空軍基地内で治療を受けている。そして、パイロットは重態だと言われている。
●カラチでビン・ラディンの財務顧問（？）が逮捕される
カラチ（アッザーム）：
カラチの法執行機関に、オサマ・ビン・ラディンの重要な財務顧問であるとの嫌疑をかけられた者が逮捕されている。
他に2人の男性がアル・カーイダとの関連容疑で逮捕された。
警察当局はジャーナリストに、「シェイク・アーメド・サレーム・スダーニはカラチにおけるオサマ・ビン・ラディンの第１の財務顧問だと思われる。」と、話した。
彼は9/11攻撃以前にカラチに到着したと言われている。
警察によれば、この人たちは、禁止されたジハード・グループの逮捕されたメンバーが提供した情報に基づいて逮捕されたということだ。
当局は、パキスタン内のアル・カーイダ・ネットワークを完全に片付けるための調査が多数進行中であると語った。

US Special Forces Come Under Grenade Attack In Uruzgan
Kabul (Azzam):
Unknown gunmen launched an attack on an American Special Forces checkpoint on Friday.
Grenades and other light weapons were used in the attack, which was launched near the same village that was victim to the barbaric US bombing that claimed 250 innocent lives and injured more than 400.
According to sources, the attack came soon after a US spokesman refused to give any details of the investigations into the civilian deaths.
Locals in the district of Darawat in the Uruzgan province said the sudden attack was launched on a US Special Forces checkpoint.
American warplanes were seen above the scene of the incident immediately after the attacks.
US military spokesman Colonel Roger King said that local Afghan troops along with US troops fired in retaliation in the direction of the origin of the attack.
5 US Soldiers Severely Injured When US Warplane Sustained Damage At Shahbaz Airbase in Pakistan
Jacobabad (Azzam):
The incident occurred when a tyre of an American warplane burst during take-off at the Shahbaz Airbase in Jacobabad on Friday night.
In all, five US troops onboard were severely injured, including the pilot who is said to be in critical condition.
Information indicates that at the time, two aircraft were being used to transport US soldiers and VIPs to various bases in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The aircraft carrying the troops was taxiing for take-off when one of its tyres burst causing the pilot to lose control and crash the plane.
All the injured are being treated inside the Shahbaz airbase and the pilot is said to be in critical condition.
Suspected Bin Ladin Financial Advisor Arrested Along With 2 Others in Karachi
Karachi (Azzam):
Law enforcement agencies in Karachi have arrested whom they suspect to be Usama Bin Ladin's main financial advisor.
Two other men were also arrested for having alleged links with Al- Qaida.
A police official while speaking to journalists said that Sheikh Ahmed Saleem Sudani was believed to be the prime financial advisor to Usama Bin Ladin in Karachi.
He is said to have arrived in Karachi prior to the 9/11 attacks.
According to the police, these men were arrested using information given by arrested members of banned Jihadi groups.
Authorities say that more investigations are in progress to completely round-up the Al-Qaida network in Pakistan.
