●カブールの爆発による死者は21名

信頼できる筋からの情報によれば、2、3日前にバグラムの米国基地で起きた爆発は、14人のアメリカ兵と7人の地方政府職員の命を奪った。
当初、この爆発による死者は4名、重傷者は26名と報じられていたが、最新の情報によると重傷を負った者たちがその後（その傷がモトで）死亡したということだ。

●軍の検問所が襲撃される

目撃者からの情報によると、ガズニ州クラバグ（Qura Bagh）地区で、オートマチックの武器を装備した身元不明のアタッカーたちが軍の検問所を襲い、アフガン兵9名が死亡、他に数名が重傷を負った。
アフガニスタン軍は、その後その地区を包囲したが、誰のことも逮捕できていない。

●コーストの米軍基地にミサイル攻撃

さらに、コースト空港のアメリカ空軍基地に対する（上記とは）別のミサイル攻撃があった。この攻撃でアメリカ兵3名が重傷を負った。
その攻撃は夜間に行われた。目撃者は空軍基地から燃え上がる炎と煙を見たと語った。

According to reliable information received, the explosion which occurred at the US military base in Bagram a few days back killed 14 US troops and 7 local Government men.
Initially it had been reported that four US troops were killed whilst 26 others were seriously wounded, however the latest information is that those who had been severely injured in the explosion later died from the severity of their wounds.

Attack At Military Checkpost Kills 9, Injures Others

In the district Qura Bagh of Ghazni Province, unknown attackers armed with automatic weapons launched a fierce attack on a military checkpoint there killing nine and seriously injuring several other Afghan troops according to eyewitnesses.
The Afghan army then encircled the region but failed to make any arrests.

Missile Attack At US Base In Khost, Three US Troops Injured.

Yet another missile strike was launched against the US airbase in Khost airport seriously injuring three US troops.
The attack occurred at night and eyewitnesses state that they saw a blaze of fire and clouds of smoke rising from the airbase.
