外国人兵士とアフガン兵士がコーストから数キロの地点で通常のパトロールを行っているところを身元不明のアタッカーたちがAK-47と手榴弾で襲った。
連合軍部隊は反撃した。引き続いて起きた銃撃戦で3人の西側の兵士と4人のアフガン兵が死亡した。
アタッカーは攻撃の後、首尾良くその地域から逃走した。
最新のレポートによると、コーストでのアル・カーイダ部隊の追求とその弾薬庫の捜索活動は失敗した。
そして、この活動に参加していた700人のトルコ部隊はカブールに戻った。

A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
One of these prisoners is Khalid bin Hamid Al- Qarani (Abu Dujanah) from Madinah, Arabian Peninsula.
Three Foreign and Four Afghan Troops Killed in Khost

MEERANSHAH (AZZAM) :
In an attack carried out by unknown attackers in the Eastern Afghan province of Khost, seven Coalition troops were killed and several others received serious injuries.
The foreign and Afghan troops were on routine patrols few kms away from Khost when unknown attackers launched an attack with AK-47's and hand-grenades.
The Coalition troops fired back at the attackers and the ensuing gunfight killed three Western troops and four Afghans.
The attackers managed to flee the area after this attack.
According to latest reports, search operations in pursuit of Al-Qaida troops and their ammunition storage facilities in Khost have failed and the 700 Turkish troops participating in these operations have returned to Kabul.
These troops arrived in Khost on Thursday with the latest equipment and weapons, but due to unspecified reasons, these troops were given orders to return.
Self-nominated Khost governor, Badshah Khan Zardan, has already informed the Coalition commanders that Al-Qaida men are not present in this region.
However, the situation in Khost continues to be tense with daily attacks against American troops in the region.
Our sources indicate that former warlord, Gulbudeen Hekmatyar has enough support in Khost, Paktika and Paktia provinces, which sounds a bell of alarm for the Afghan interim government and the US and its allies.
