A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
One of these prisoners is Abu Bakr Al-Shamarani from Riyadh, Arabian Peninsula.
Body searching of Veiled Women In Khost
BAGRAM(AZZAM) :
The US Army in Khost have initated the body searching of veiled women in Khost.
US military spokesman Lt. Col. Karl Silverster stated that the searches have resulted in the confiscation of several laptop computers, weapons, a large amount of ammunition, various sensitive electronic items, passports and other documents related to al-Qaeda.
He said that they had received information that women were being used to transfer items, using their 'Burqa' to avoid searches and to hide the items.
In a similar action in Uruzgan, US troops confiscated high frequency radio antennae, a Russian machine gun, 10 Russian manufactured grenades, 2 AK47 assault rifles and a 82 MM mortar.
Turks decline request continue to spearhead International Peacekeeping Force
ANKARA (AZZAM):
The Turkish government have refused to extend the deployment of the Turkish Army in Afghanistan.
The Turkish Army, under the auspices of the UN, are deployed as the main contingent of the International Peacekeeping forces in Afghanistan.
Turkish media reports that the Turkish foreign minister said that despite the request of many countries to extend their peacekeeping mandate in Afghanistan, but they have declined the requests.
