A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
One of these prisoners is Abu Baseer Al-Kurdi from Iraq.
US Troops Claim to Have Discovered Huge Ammunition Stockpile
BAGRAM (AZZAM):
The US military reported that they had found huge ammunition piles in several parts of central Afghanistan.
The US military spokesman at Bagram airbase, Roger King, said the ammunition was found and removed from numerous tunnels, bunkers and other suspected locations.
He mentioned that during one operation, trucks fully loaded with assorted ammunition were found in some caves.
A large stash of ammo was also found in an area called Thera-hud in the Uruzgan province.
The store included around four million 12.7 mm shells and around one million 14.5 mm rounds.
They were found hidden in several underground bunkers and tunnels on an agricultural farm.
The spokesman said that US troops have destroyed all the ammunition.
Operation by US Commandos in Khost, 3 Afghan Suspects Arrested
KHOST (AZZAM):
Three days ago in the region of Khost, US commandos arrested three persons, including Maulvi Wali-ur-Rehman, on suspicion of having links with Al-Qaida.
The commandos raided Maulvi Wali-ur-Rehman's house and arrested him along with two other Afghans, claiming to have recovered explosives from his house.
