アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから389日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。
彼等はキューバで無理やり顎鬚を剃られ、マラリアや熱射病、他の熱帯病に罹りやすい籠に入れられている。
この囚人のなかに、イエメン出身のサイード・アト-タッジィがいる。
●ウルズガン州の米軍検問所が攻撃される
カブール（アッザーム）：
火曜日の夜遅く、聖戦士がウルズガン州ダラワット地区の米軍検問所をロケット弾で攻撃した。
攻撃の後、聖戦士は首尾よく無事に脱出した。
米軍のスポークスマンは攻撃があったことを確認した。しかしながら、この攻撃による死傷者に関する情報は提供しなかった。
●釈放された捕虜が明かす残酷な拷問
カブール（アッザーム）：
アメリカの手でキューバで拘留されているイスラム教徒の扱いに関する我々の数多の懸念が、最近キューバから解放された3人のアフガニスタン人によって確認された。
３人のアフガニスタン人が釈放されたが、様々な国籍の600人以上のムスリムが未だに投獄されている。
キューバで苦しめられたこれら3人のアフガニスタン人は、現在カブールの地元病院で治療を受けている。
解放されたアフガニスタン人のうちの1人はウルズガン州の住民ハジ・ファイズ・ムハンマドである。彼は105歳だ。
「彼はタリバンの上級司令官である」という北部同盟からの誤った情報によって彼を逮捕した米軍は、100歳を超えている彼を逮捕することに躊躇しなかったし、一片の同情も示さなかった。
この105歳の老人に足枷を嵌め、その生活全てを病に罹る怖れのあるキューバの灼熱の太陽に晒しながら数ヶ月の間拘束した後で、アメリカ当局は最終的に「この老人はタリバンとは何の関係もない」と、認めて釈放した。
比較的安全なカブールでハジ・ファイズ・ムハンマドは、キューバに送られる前も送られた後も、米軍は数え切れないほどの残酷な拷問を加えて彼から情報を引き出そうとしたと語った。
ヘルマンド州生まれのジャン・ムハンマド（34歳）も解放された囚人の1人だ。彼はクンドゥスで逮捕された。
ジャン・ムハンマドはアル・カーイダとの接点があるとして逮捕されたと話した。しかし、実のところ、彼は農民である。
この事実を認識するのにアメリカ当局はこんなにも長い時間を費やした。
彼は、キューバのムスリムがおかれている悲惨な状態を説明する時に、「ムスリムの囚人は、洗浄（ウード）や祈祷（サラート）、他に人として必要なあらゆる動作を一日中2ヤード四方の場所で済ませなければならない」と、話した。
米兵がキューバのムスリムに加えた拷問テクニックの種類や残虐さを説明することは不可能であり、口にすることすら出来ないほどだと語った。
釈放された囚人の最後はパクティア州のハジ・ムハンマドシディック（90歳）である。彼はキューバでの処遇に酷く打ちのめされているので、（どんな扱いを受けたかを）話すことによってそれを思い出したくないが、米兵の残虐さは説明不能だと語った。

A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
One of these prisoners is Saeed At-Taazi from Yemen
US Military Checkpost in Uruzgan Province Attacked
KABUL (AZZAM):
The Mujahideen launched a rocket attack on a US military checkpost in the Darawat district of the Uruzgan Province late on Tuesday night.
After the attack the Mujahideen managed to exit safely.
A US military spokesman confirmed the attack occurred, however failed to provide any information on any deaths or injuries sustained because of the attack.
Barbaric Torture of Mujahideen Prisoners in Cuba Verified by Those Released
KABUL (AZZAM):
Many of our fears concerning the treatment of Muslims in US custody in Cuba were confirmed by three Afghan nationals who were recently released from Cuba.
Despite the release of these three Afghan nationals, over 600 other Muslims from a variety of countries are still incarcerated in Cuba.
These three Afghan nationals are now receiving medical treatment at a local hospital in Kabul after being tortured in Cuba.
One of the three released Afghans was Haji Faiz Muhammad, aged 105 years old, a resident of Uruzgan Province.
Despite being over a Century old, US forces did not hesitate nor show any compassion when they arrested him after being wrongly informed by their Northern Alliance allies that he was a senior Taliban Commander.
Now after months of imprisoning this 105 year old man in shackles, leaving him exposed to the burning Cuban sun vulnerable to a whole spectrum of life threatening diseases, they have finally released this elderly man admitting that he had nothing to do with the Taliban.
In the relative safety of Kabul, Haji Faiz Muhammad stated that the US troops performed countless barbaric torture techniques both before and after shifting him to Cuba in attempt to get him to divulge information.
The other Afghan released was a native of Hilmand Province, 34 year old Jaan Muhammad who had been arrested in Qundooz.
Jaan Muhammad states that he was arrested for having contacts with Al-Qaida, but the fact is that he is a farmer.
This fact has taken the US authorities this long to realise.
While describing the terrible situation for Muslims in Cuba, he stated that the Muslim prisoners only have an area of two square yards within which they have to perform all of their activities for the entire day, including making ablution (wudu), prayer (salat) and other human needs.
He said it was impossible to explain or even repeat the variety or cruelty of torture techniques employed by the US soldiers on Muslims in Cuba.
The final man released was 90 year old Haji Muhammad Siddiq of the Paktia Province who was so devastated by his treatment in Cuba, that he did not want to relive it by speaking of it, but said that it was impossible to explain the barbarism of the US soldiers.
