アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから401日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。
彼等はキューバで無理やり顎鬚を剃られ、マラリアや熱射病、他の熱帯病に罹りやすい籠に入れられている。
この囚人のなかに、アラビア半島出身のアシム・アル-ヤフィがいる。
●聖戦士、連合軍のヘリコプターを撃墜 − コースト
ミーランシャー（アッザーム）：
日曜日、コースト州のザージー・グランド地区で連合軍のヘリコプターが聖戦士のRPGロケットで撃墜され、乗員8名全員が死亡した。
通常のパトロール飛行をしていたヘリコプターにロケットが命中し、ヘリコプターは大破した。生存者はいなかった。
コーストではもう一つ、別の事件があった。アフガン第12軍の司令官ジアウッディン指揮下の軍と地元警察軍との間に流血の衝突があった。
この戦闘の結果、4人が死亡、数名の負傷者がでたとのレポートがあった。
銃撃になった原因はまだ判っていない。
●米軍用車が地雷に触れて爆発 −クナール
クナール（アッザーム）：
クナールで起きた地雷の爆発で米兵1名が死亡、他に4名が致命傷を負った。
クナール州アサダバード付近で通常のパトロールをしていた米軍の車輌が地雷に接触し、車輌は大破した。
米軍の死傷者はバグラム空軍基地へ移された。
クナール州ではまた、8人の武装した男たちが米軍の宿舎を攻撃した。
米軍のアパッチ・ヘリコプターと軍用機が現場付近を猛烈に爆撃したが、攻撃者は首尾よくその地域から脱出した。
●ペシャワールの米軍がロケット攻撃に遭う
ぺシャワール（アッザーム）：
日曜日、パキスタン北西辺境州の州都ペシャワールで、米軍を収容している思われるビルがロケット攻撃を受けた。
しかし、損害の程度はまだ判っていない。
最初のロケットは、建物からの約250メートル離れた所にある警備検問所に命中した。
第二のロケットは目標を外し、空家に命中した。
この攻撃で死者が出たとのレポートはまだない。
地方政府の職員は、この特に米軍を標的とした攻撃に関する逮捕者は今のところいないし、犯行声明を出したグループもないと語った。

A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
One of these prisoners is Asim Al-Yafi from the Arabian Peninsula.
Coalition Helicopter Shot Down by the Mujahideen in Khost, Eight Dead
MEERANSHAH (AZZAM):
All eight coalition troops aboard a helicopter were killed when Mujahideen shot down a coalition helicopter in the Zaazee Ground region of Khost with RPG rockets, on Sunday.
The helicopter was on routine patrol when it was hit by the rockets that destroyed it upon impact, leaving no survivors.
In another incident in Khost, a bloody clash took place between troops loyal to Afghan Army 12th Division Commander Ziauddin and local police forces.
Four men were reported killed in these clashes and several others were seriously injured.
The reasons for the gunfights remain unknown.
US Commandos Killed as US Military Vehicle Destroyed by Land Mine in Kunar
KUNAR (AZZAM):
One US Commando was killed and four others received life-threatening injuries due to a land mine explosion in Kunar.
The US commandos were on routine guard patrol near the Asadabad region in Kunar Province when their vehicle was destroyed as it hit a land mine.
The dead and injured US troops were shifted to Bagram Airbase.
In another attack in Kunar Province, eight armed men carried out an attack on a building housing American troops.
US Apache helicopters and warplanes intensely bombed the nearby locations , but the attackers managed to flee the area.
US Troops in Peshawar Come Under Rocket Attacks
PESHAWAR (AZZAM):
A building thought to house American troops in Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province was targetted with rockets Sunday, but the damage has not yet been assessed.
The first rocket hit the guard checkpost some 250 metres away from the building.
The second rocket missed the target and hit an empty house.
No loss of life has yet been reported in this attack.
Local government officials said that no arrests have been made so far in connection with this attack, which was specifically aimed at American troops and no group has claimed responsibility for it.
