Some Zionist groups in Los Angeles criticized the Japanese Asahi television, saying that the remarks of the TV's broadcaster about Zionists were discriminatory. Kavamora, who was formerly the bureau chief of Asahi television in Cairo, had said that since the Zionists have dominated the U.S. media, they have become a target of anthrax-contaminated letters.
The Japanese daily **Asahi** on October 20 wrote that the Zionist, Simon Wiesenthal center, has asked the TV director to fire this broadcaster
In anther development, the Japanese Kyodo News Agency reported that a senior commentator of the Japanese NHK TV, Hiroshi Hase Gava, 55, who was looking into the September 11 attacks in the U.S., was murdered by unknown assailants in Tokyo.
The Zionists' domination of the media in the U.S. and Europe in not something new, and the Japanese journalist had only talked about the realities. The Zionist circles, which control some 60 percent of the U.S. economy, possess famous newspapers such as ***The New York Times, **The Washington Post**, **The Wall Street Journal*** and ****Daily News*** and shape the public opinion through these media. Therefore, it is not surprising that **The New York Times** only reflects the views of the Zionists on the Palestinian issue.
Some 1,759 dailies are published in the United States every day, and observers believe that nearly 75 percent of these publications are controlled by the Zionists.
Considering the involvement of Zionists in different acts of terrorism like the Lavon incident in 1954, in which the Zionist regime aimed to blow up U.S. installations in Cairo and put the blame on the Egyptians, analysts believe that Zionists may also have been involved in September 11 attacks on New York and Washington.
The analysts also believe that the Zionists are worried that their involvement in these attacks may be exposed by independent journalists. That is why they show no hesitations in threatening independent reporters and intimidating them into silence. This could explain the murder of Hiroshi Hase Gava, who was investigating September 11 attacks independently, or Wiesenthal's pressure on Asahi TV to fire its broadcaster.

ユダヤ系団体がテレビ朝日に抗議 解説者の発言「不当」
米ロサンゼルスに本部を置くユダヤ系団体サイモン・ウィーゼンタール・センターは１７日、テレビ朝日の番組のニュース解説でユダヤ人に関して不当な発言があったとして、同局の川村晃司・元カイロ支局長の更迭と会社としての謝罪を求めた。
同センターによると、川村氏は米国での炭疽（たんそ）菌事件について、「ユダヤ人が狙われた。彼らが米国のメディアを支配しているためだ」という趣旨の発言をしたが、これは偏見に基づく誤りだと指摘している。同センターによると、初期の炭疽菌の被害者にユダヤ人はいないという。

川村氏は現在テレビ朝日の「スーパーモーニング」コメンテーター。同局はこの文書を１７日に受け取った。「ご指摘を受けた点については現在精査しており、真摯（しんし）に対応したい」とコメントしている。

SWC URGES REMOVAL OF JAPANESE TV COMMENTATOR FOR ALLEGING JEWS ARE TARGET OF ANTHRAX ATTACKS BECAUSE "THEY CONTROL U.S. MEDIA"
The Simon Wiesenthal Center is calling on TV Asahi, a leading Japanese TV network, to immediately remove Koji Kawamura as an 'expert commentator' from its programming after he alleged on air that "Jews were targeted for anthrax attacks because they control the US media", and later said that the " common thread linking the targets of anthrax attacks was that they were Jews". Kawamaru, a former bureau chief in Cairo for the network, made these allegations on two broadcasts of "Super Morning", on October 15th and 17th.
In a protest sent to the Asahi National Broadcasting Company in Tokyo, Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Associate Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center said:" The civilized world, including Japan is at war with international terrorism. It is just such lies, presented by Kawamaru as fact, that aid and abet the terrorists and their supporters as they seek to justify their heinous crimes. Such outrageous, patently false and dangerous statements cannot pass for commentary. They are based totally on classic antisemitic stereotypes, like those used by the Nazis to justify their genocidal crimes. For TV Asahi to give these baseless charges public validation during a time of war is unacceptable."
Additionally, Rabbi Cooper wrote, " We call upon your network to immediately remove Kawamaru from his position and for a senior official of Asahi National Broadcasting to publicly disassociate from this hateful propaganda and to apologize to the Jewish community and to your viewers." "We also strongly suggest that Asahi inform its viewers that none of the early victims of the anthrax attacks nor prominent personalities targeted like NBC's Tom Brokaw, or US Senate Majority leader Tom Daschle are Jewish,” he added.
