David Bowie - Five Years - Live on U.S. TV – 1976
Bowie and the live band on U.S. TV, February 1976, close to the start of the tour. He is in great voice, and performs a beautifully measured version of Five Years, a track originally from the David Bowie album, The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, from 1972.
The '76 live band were:
Carlos Alomar - Guitar
Dennis Davis - Drums
Tony Kaye - Keyboards
George Murray - Bass
Stacey Heydon - Guitar

Main reason for uploading this clip is because it is such a great performance, so it seemed too tragic that there was no decent version online, that I could find.
Technically, not much needed to be done to the picture, except return it to the correct aspect ratio, and add a slight color correction.
Similar to what I did on the companion video for Stay, I tried to engineering a fake “Stereo” effect. I took two separately sourced (mono) audios that had quite different properties from each other, and then pushed those differences further with the EQ. I put one track only on the left channel, the other only on the right. In addition, there was a lot of drop-outs and clicks on one audio, so I removed the worst offenders, though there are still some slightly distracting shifts in the sound, but in the end I ran out of patience!
