Bruno Walter - Mozart: Symphony No. 40 - Finale - Berlin Philharmonic
VIDEO
This is a historic piece of film in which Bruno Walter and the Berlin Philharmonic play the finale from Mozart's G minor Symphony. It comes from a German TV documentary made many years ago about Walter's life and career. ... NOTE: The concert programme illustrated shortly after the start gives the concert date as 17th March 1930. However, due to the many comments below questioning this date I've deleted "1930" from the video title! ... Furthermore, the clip evidently comes from a 1952 West German TV documentary entitled "Botschafter der Musik" ("Ambassadors of Music") details of which can be found under the Wiki article of that title.
